It is about pride, but you are still thinking it is about money. On the surface it seems that way, but if you can look past it, you will understand. Sounds like it doesn't make sense, 50/50 against a money maker like Hatton is a great deal for you and me. I would definitely take this offer if I was Pac. But I am not him and I did not spend my whole life fighting for a living and knowing what it meant to him to be recognize as the best and being respected for it. Again, not something you would understand right now.

Are you forgetting the fact that at lw pac has done nothing where as hatton has been the number 1 lw on the planet for the last 5 years,
hatton would be putting his belt on the line, hatton will be the defending champ and hatton has alot more to loose, if pac looses everyone will say well he came up 6 weights to fight him, if hatton looses hes last to a previes bw. 50 50 was fair considering hatton would have to go abroad to defend hid title!

Um.. Pac believes he was robbed in the first fight when the judge didn't score it properly, and he believes he won the second as well as the judges. Coming from this angle, Pac offer what he felt was right. I personally would offer jmm more money but that's just me. :D

People tune it to watch the best fighter in the world, Pac is that...he does deserve the bigger pay. Im pissed off this fight is not happening but not solely at pac. Everything that has been said about Pac is true for Hatton too, this is the biggest fight for Hatton, 45% of 60mil+ is better than 50% of nothing etc etc. Loosing an extra 3% wouldnt have hurt Hatton, he agreed to 30% against PBF and he was undefeated then.

As for fighting for the belt, who cares about the belt. If that was a bargaining tool, DLH-pac wouldnt have sold so much and Diaz would have earnt more than Manny. Also all this time it has been Hatton talking about taking that mythical title of p4p #1, he wants to be the best fighter in the world by beating worlds best pound for pound, no mention of Pac dreaming to become the JWW champ, he dont care too much for belts. Their fighting for recognition, not for an IBO belt.

Pac deserves more but as a boxing fan and Pac fan, im very pissed off this fight is possibly not gonna happen. I wouldnt really mind if Pac took 40% himself, he will still make alot of money and we get to see a great fight.

Screw it, why cant they just fight for the money, winner takes 20%. Fair enough.

So David Diaz did more in his division than Pac and it was Diaz's title on the line, so should Diaz got the lion share? It isn't about belt title on the line, it is about the p4p status title on the line.

DLH when he moves up in weight did the same thing and got the Lion share for who he was. Pac felt beating DLH, essentially he has taken the thrown and should now on get the Lion share.

we have already established hatton could do big numbers agiant jmm, oscar or floyd so he can get good money and perhaps even better money than a fight with pac.

You can replace "ricky" for "Pacquiao" and make the same argument.
