I think a Prime Pavlik WOULD RIP GGG a new one.

Unfortunately, a mediocre trainer and alcoholism did the Ghost in, but at his best I think he was bigger and hit harder than GGG and at his best he would have smashed GGG to bits.

I have always felt this way and as of right now, before all his problems Pavlik's resume ****s all over GGG's.

Had Pavlik had an elite trainer and stayed away from the vices, a prime Kelly would have ripped GGG a new one and to go one better, I would fear for Lemiuex's health if he were to come at Kelly, winging those wide wild shots. A thorough decapitation for sure! same goes for GGG ,trying to stalk Pavlik would have also resulted in a very lethal decapitation. Any one else see it this way?

Pavlik was a primitive compared to Golovkin. Golovkin easy.

I agree. GGG has never faced someone like Pavlik. Even Prime Taylor can beat GGG.

Plus Pavlik fought WAY better competition. I mean look at who he had to get through to get to Taylor. Pretty impressive. No one gave him a shot vs Miranda let alone Taylor(twice).

Pavlik was good against straight forward fighters. Crafty boxers were his undoing and GGG, despite his steamrolling through opposition, is a very good boxer. As soon as he sees that Pavlik can bang and can take a shot, Genady switches gears and outboxes him, possibly with a tko in championship rounds. A truly mouthwatering fight for any fan.

Well you certainty were in the minority. Miranda was a pretty strong favorite.

GiGi would never face Pavlik if he were still fighting.
He'd say he was waiting to fight some welterweight or British bum instead of facing Pavlik.
GiGi would probably uses his patented excuse that Pavlik wasn't a big enough PPV star and he was planning to fight Mosley instead.
