Only Broner is not a puncher so he really doesn't even have a punchers chance.

Broner has above average power. When he turned it on, he was hurting Mikey, Vargas, and Granados. And he was the only person to ever drop Shawn Porter. Porter took flush bombs from Thurman. Broner's not a concussive puncher like JMM, but he's got serious velocity in his shots.

if he does it does not mean Broner is the second coming of Hearns. It means Manny was too old to be fighting, which he is. Anyone with the fights he has had and fighting below heavyweight should not be fighting. 147 relies on speed and youth, and he is too old. If he were heavyweight I could see fighting until he is 50.. Slow pace slow punches guys don't train as hard. etc.

If Broner hears the 5th round bell Manny is dead. We have seen the blueprint for fighting old guys; Joshua - Povetkin, Usyk - Bellew, Gvozdyk - Stevenson and even Charlo - Korobov and Hopkins - Kovalev and Smith. Ride out the early storm, they ain't meant to go 12. Manny had better ice him early, and I don't think he will, Roach throws in the towel in 12 in a fight that looks a lot like Broner Alarkadiev.

Many people are picking Broner. I am surprised. I think Oscar picked Broner. and I can see why. A 40 year old welterweight with all that mileage can be beaten by a decent 29 year old who has good handspeed. 11 year old difference. I am going with Manny just on the fact he is Manny and he wants to fight Floyd, so he will try and hang in there. And he looked good in the last fight. If Broner loses that looks very bad. Losing to a 40 year old when he is 29.

And you the same guy that says Loma should moved up to fight the very same Pacquiao lol. You say broner will beat Pacquiao because Pacquiao is a 40 year old shot fighter correct? Well what if Loma moves up and beat Pacquiao? Will you make the same excuse like you said about picking broner cause Pacquiao is done, shot? Smh

Umhhh fishy, very fishy... I don't really believe u actually thought that TS, i think it was basically a disingenuous fanboy post made to make the win seem more impressive when it actually happened..

No. Because I highly suspected that Broner would open up on Pac like he did Vargas, Mikey, and Granados in the late rounds... If he had done that, and if Pac had become every bit of his 40 years last night, then Broner would have won. Broner didn't do what he promised to do ("I will be war ready," he said) and Pac didn't slip anymore from his Horn/Matthysse form.

That was a decent prediction, if the fight was legit. Manny didn't touch him for 5 rounds, but Broner was throwing shots that couldn't hurt a flyweight. Then he goes into all that Tripple-H/Hulk Hogan **** at the end? Who knows? In any event I could live without seeing either of them in a boxing ring again, and for God sakes Mayweather also.
