The myth that Froch gasses has taken hold for some reason

I thought your reasoning was Froch was lazy? So he was lazy by choice to hurt his own chances. Or was he tired?

one of two things will happen in this fight, froch looks to take the first 6 rounds (as abraham is a slow starter) and then looks to get on his bike for the last 6 hoping for a decision (which is all very well on home soil) or frochs heart leads his head and froch gets into a swing up with abraham, and froch gets stopped late in the fight?

we all know froch likes to put on a show and get into a slug fest but for me abrahams punches too straight and hard for frochs looping punches.

frochs awkward jabs are there to trouble abraham and win this fight but i dont think he'll use them enough so im gong for a late ko in favour of abraham.

I don't think he has bad stamina but Kessler whacking right hands into his side all night wouldn't have helped things.

You suscribe to the myth that he lost because he was lazy.

Would you regard it as a myth if you subscribed to it?;);)

Does anyone else think that maybe they will cook up a draw?

As many have said, I can see Froch taking the early rounds and Abraham coming on strong late, if it goes 12 then i'd imagine it will be very close and a draw puts Abraham through and is pretty much guaranteed to put Froch through as well and it doesn't really hurt either guys marketability :think

Of course it has to go the distance for this to even be a possibility :nut

I was pissed, it doesn't make as much sense to me as it did last night:yep

What I meant was Abraham's slow start won't matter because he has the power to KO Froch at any point in the second half of the fight. Kessler had him all over the shop at various points in their fight when Carl just hung his chin out to dry. Froch does have a good chin, and recovers quickly but Abrahams power is like nothing else he's faced so far in his career.

I think someone gets stopped too. I reckon Abraham will stop Froch unless Froch hurts him first. I do think Froch will be the hardest hitter Abraham will have been in with too.

AA's lack of early workrate will cost him too many rounds to get back. Froch UD.

Surely Arthur will adapt his gameplan tho. He must realise he's fighting someone with a reasonable chin and cant afford to let Froch rack up the points.

Fascinating match up....I think AA will be very impressive and surprise a few people.

Ah right, on first read it looked like you were predicting a 1st round KO in the second half of the fight.:D
