I think Abraham will stop Froch

He had answers though. You're trying to talk as if Froch did nothing all fight and Kessler laid it on him at will.

I see AA knocking Froch out, his last 4 fights have been hard fought 12 round wars overall, I can't see him having the durability to take anything from AA in the last few rounds, especially if he tries to go toe to toe with him

 

Getting annoyed with people going on about abraham's much vaunted punch power at 168lbs,where is the evidence of this? Taylor was spent by the time abraham got him coz froch had flattened him and he still made heavy weather of taylor. I think abraham is gonna really feel froch's power despite his high guard and froch is gonna hurt him. People can say froch made excuses about been tired in the kessler fight but i believe they were genuine,i mean he arrived 4 days late and everybody knows fight week is hugely important.

 

I think Froch should win this, but he must box, not brawl. Froch should not try to KO Abraham, not even try to hurt him. Just box simple 1-2's, left hand right hand, then get away again. That's what you do with Abraham. Frustrate him, expose his lack of boxing skills.

If Froch stays on the outside, on quick feet and avoids trading toe-to-toe in the later rounds then he'll be fine and win an easy UD12. Abraham appears quite helpless when he's faced with a quick boxer that uses his distance well. Abraham's Dirrell fight really should give Froch some clues.

I think Froch has great conditioning and shouldn't tire in the later rounds like many of Abraham's victims who he then knocked out in the 2nd half like sitting ducks.

 

Problem is, they were all athletic types with speed on their side which Abraham would die for. Froch might actually look like Sugar Ray for large portions of this fight as the king stays rooted to the spot.

 

If i were McKracken and Froch i would be working on my body punching, AA's very high very tight gaurd make headhunting a tough prospect and a tiring one. I would be spending plenty of time working the ribcage and the lead hook, i am so excited about this one,i have started saving some sheckles and depending on where its held, i may well go:good

 

Abraham is a brawler, he's good toe-to-toe. Froch would be an idiot if he allowed Abraham to play out his own strengths.

Don't brawl a brawler, box him. Abraham can easily be outboxed by a quicker, technically more skilled boxer. IMO Froch has the skillset and stamina to easily do that, with very little risk.

The big mistake Froch would make is assume he can't possibly win on the scorecards so he will feel forced to win by KO. I hope he is smarter than that.

There are dozens of foreign fighters who won tight decisions in Germany. Remember Virgin Hill won a decision against Henry Maske -- their national hero. Schulz lost to Moorer in Germany. Michalczewski lost to Gonzales or whatever his name was etc.

 

I dont think abraham really is a brawler to be honest,he's quite methodical and precise with his punch placement. Besides the gevor fight i can't think of too many times he has gone toe to toe with anyone. If he besides to go to war with froch and go toe to toe with him i think it will be abraham who will end up on his arse.

 

Abraham actually covers his body quite well with his shell defense. Long arms and a short upper body is to his advantage.
I think Froch should focus on his already formidable stamina and up his work rate quite a lot. Keep throwing his hard long jab and straight rights to keep Abraham off balance throughout the fight. Never allow Abraham to get of his punches first.

I think it will go the distance. I have Froch on points.

I think that Froch will have a brawl with him early doors which could be a real roll of the dice playing into the strengths of Abraham...:yep

But I think that it is a calculated risk as Froch will have the upperhand and soften Abraham up for a possible early stoppage, if not, he will have softened him up enough to box on the back foot to a points win by picking off Abraham as he comes forward trying to take the fight to Froch, tiring and getting caught very easily by Froch...:yep

 

I think that is the best option for Froch.

He's not capable of doing what Dirrell did (either the boxing or the acting) so the best bet is to come out at a high pace and get Abraham throwing 60-70 punches a round - can AA sustain that level of workrate over the full 12?
