I myself score rounds exactly at the end-of-the-round bell, so any scorecard or the punch-stats shown afterwards don't affect me at all... If I'm focusing on scoring, I'm concentrating on whom to give the round while it's still on and I usually write it down at the bell. A few seconds of hesitation maybe, but the more you chew on, the more chance you decide wrong... But for myself, I like all info on the fight like the Lederman card, Sho cards, press row cards and punch stats as well. I don't (and as I've said, technically can't) use the compubox numbers when scoring, and the whole thing in scoring is not who's throwing or landing more, but who's landing the more decisive blows. But the stats are good for check out the percentages, accuracy and of course the number of blocked/landed shots... It's important... like in the case of Pavlik-Taylor II. Pavlik landed MUCH more... What I don't like much is Manny Steward's exceptional boxing knowledge. I don't like when he says 2 rounds before that Morales's legs are weak and Pac's gonna KO him in 44,3 seconds with a left hook-right cross combination... He's not at all entertaining and he's spoling the best moments as he can see almost EVERYTHING coming... Bring back the best: the great George Foreman!
Erm, if you are going to talk about intelligence and leaders, it would help your case if you got the facts right. Tony Blair is not our leader.
Erm....My bad...I thought you all were from England where Tony Blair is the Prime Minister. Which would validate my point......So before you jump in to a conversation on intelligence and world leaders make sure you know what's going on. Ok Mate!
Not true. UK (I know, UK not England...but I don't know the English stats) is ahead by about two points. And considering the proportion of US residents below the poverty line (compared to the proportion in UK), receiving poor schooling etc, that is quite **** on our part.
im an american in britain, and the Sky commentators are always bias to british fighters, and pretty much do the same thing lederman and crew do. IMO
atsch http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/6245682.stm Gordon Brown has been England's Prime Minister since last year. :deal
Of course not..... I'm stating that Englands leader "BLAIR" was no better than Bush...in fact he was more idiotic to follow the lead of our President since it's well known how compleley moronic he is....Brown has only recently be elected PM! I think since July 07. GB Hasn't even been PM for a year. Someone needs to let the US know when you all change leaders
Depends which channel. Jim Watt is very negative towards British fighters on sky. The ITV team nut hug generally.
I had no idea Brown was elected but that wasn't my point. My point was in comparison of Blair and Bush. Either way anything will be better than Blair as anything will be better than Bush.
If anything Our commentator's bash british fighters when they're not doing what they should be doing. Watt especially during Hatton Vs Mayweather.
Doesn't matter either way, people are always bickering about mistakes of the past but never concentrate on fixing mistakes.
Watt during Hatton vs anyone TBH. If you listened to his commentary when Hatton fights, but didn't see the fight, you'd think Hatton's lost about 5 fights by now.
