Another Klitschko win and the same old BS from you. It must burn you up inside to see them keep winning and beating everyone out there.

The only way he's really going to cut the ring off more effectively is to lose a little more weight. He'll have a little more speed that way, he should be lighter on his feet. He could work on that, you are right, some head movement is also possible. He's not and never will be an athletic guy so I doubt we'll ever see him moving and cutting angles off like Joe Frazier. Being a good mover is part and parcel of effectively cutting the ring off, so it starts with his athleticism.

Against most opponents he'll get his shots off just fine. Problem is Klitschko jumps all the way back and keeps you always occupied with punches. Even when he got into range he just held right on to Arreola. It's very tough.

yeha i mean i dont expect him to be out there like a prime tyson... but just to give himself a better chance... he could have closed out on vk if he knew how to cut off the ring better and used some head movement better

part of me thinks goosen should have been more patient with him... but on the other hand the check was probably owrth it....

He has talked about his weight before. IF, and that is a big IF, he has taken anything from this fight, let it be that he needs to be more dedicated. The weight issue is just an outward indication that he hasn't wanted to put in the work needed to be a true world champ. I'm not talking belt holder here either.

Though the fight was a mismatch now that we look back at it, I was entertained and all thanks to Chris Arreola for his effort in pressuring a Klitschko like no other heavyweight has pressured them in a while. For a moment or to, I actually thought Chris might hit a homerun but it didn't happen. I tip my hat off to him for his effort. He has made me an even greater fan of his now. Though the Klitschkos are in another class, I think Chris can be very competitive against the other heavyweights and one day maybe he will have a crack one of the Klitchkos yet again.

Arreola has a lot of heart and he deserves respect for that but he is a prime example that you cannot cut corners in order to be at the top !

A really dedicated heavyweight pursuing to be the best will never be overweight and Arreola will have a choice to make, does he dare to become great at what he does by making real sacrifices or does he just want to stay a decent contender his entire life...

I think he's actually in fair shape in terms of stamina. He took a hell of a beating tonight, and to take a sustained beating and keep coming forward and trying to punch, you really have to be in good shape. To me he looked like going the distance if he wouldn't have been pulled out.

But if he wants to maximize his talents and his offensive capability he should really get down to a peak weight. 235-240 is definitely achieveable.

Oh, pardon me if I have something against men hugging . . . especially when one party is interested in fighting while the other is interested in hugging. So, yeah, it burns me up inside. It burns me up just about as much as this . . .

burns up those guys who have been makin' threads for years about how Lennox really didin't beat Vitali.

I have a feeling Arreola will come into his next fight considerably less than 250lbs...if he's learned anything tonight. He couldn't even throw a straight punch, makes me wonder how much time he spent in the gym actually sharpening his skills.

He needed a wake-up call, and if this loss doesn't do it, nothing will.

That's all you can cling to. Grasping at straws. The American heavyweight scene is ****. Deal with it. It's so bad that moral victories are hailed as feats of greatness. Hug that out.
