    i hear you....i mean...i could agree with that statement....i dunno...barrera was on twitter talking all that garbage...when the fight became official i just thought maybe he could hit the twitter like "thank you andre ward for this opportunity...but now its on and im going to ruin your party"....thats all

    i think ward might make this guy pay

    he doesn't have to thank ward you clown and yeah I'm sure hbo wasn't going to let ward pick some bum like he's tried to do in the past.barrera was the only choice hbo was going to give him. if it was up to ward he would have picked another bum like smith or murdock.

    if barrera was the only choice hbo was going to give ward then there would have been no problem with money since barrera could pretty much call his number......you follow? its a pretty easy negotiation for barrera if hes the only option....he doesnt have to cry about being lowballed.......but im the clown right? lol

    By "might" I hope you mean bang him up a bit. No doubt Ward is going to win. The question is whether or not Ward will cruise to a safe victory or try and make a statement.

    You can but bringing that to the publics eye can kill what little hype the fight has right now. I think Barrera is doing the right think by jumping and trying to take on the division by storm. If you talk confident and you end up backing it up, you're going to pull in a lot more fans than you would by being nice, it also gives Networks like HBO more of a reason to promote you when they have something like that to work with.

    Parker is doing the same thing right now. I don't think Parker hates Joshua nor do I think Barrera hates Ward or Kovalev. Some fighters just see it as buiseness and that you shouldn't thank somebody for doing their job. Barrera see's himself as a top contender rather than a lower ranking guy that Ward had several options of fighting.

    I'm sure Ward doesn't take anything said on twitter seriously. Barrera's selling the fight. Ward knows it.
    Tbh it seems to have worked as people seem to think this is a close fight for some reason.

    People thought it was going to be a tough fight well before it was official.....before Barrera started running his mouth in twitter ........when it was talked about as potentially happening alot of people said it would be tough for ward ......let's be real Barrera isn't making any splash talking trash ......i only know about it because someone was posting it here ....just being honest
