I think Bronner missed weight on purpose as some kind of publicity stunt

:deal This may have been all planned to gain more haterz, notoriety and create buzz in the boxing world. Adding to his bad guy persona

It's not worth thinking about, but if this was the case, they did a good job of it.

As Broner said in the words of Denzel in Training Day when asked about the tweets:

'You been planning this **** all day'

'I've been planning it all week son!'

Smart kid. He is already more famous and relevant than alot of champions and p4p fighters with 10 year careers

I don't think it was for publicity at all. I just think he didn't care to make weight.

I agree. To me what he did more of a publicity stunt that a way to get an advantage, like some sick homage to what Floyd did to Marquez. And if that wasn't classless enough, the whole fake proposal thing was making fun of Escobedo for when Escobedo proposed to his wife in the ring after his fight with Robert Guerrero.

Broner's a straight up punk ass *****, but he's good enough, and his promoter's and manager are powerfull enough, he won't be losing for a looooong time.

Of course he did. He's being talked about more than ward Martinez and donaire. And they're top 10 p4p

Exactly. Sometimes you just have to know how to play your cards. And its not fair for fighters like berto, russell jr, nonito, ward, dawson, martinez, gamboa who can't sell but it is what it is. Thats what's great about Cotto. #3 PPV attraction earned the hard way
