It would be much easier for me to get behind him if he had fought and beat Chad Dawson and perhaps even Thomas Adamek at Light Heavyweight. In addition to Lucian Bute at Super Middleweight. I would be on the bandwagon if he had those W's on his resume though I do believe he would beat most, if not all, of the super six. Thoughts?

There wasn't any real need to beat Lucien Bute at the time. Bute won Calzaghe's vacated belt, Calzaghe essentially finished business at 168 when he beat Kessler, that was the threat in the division as everybody saw it.

He stepped up and fought the best LHW in the world at the time.

I do wish he'd have stayed one more and fought Chad Dawson, I rate Chad highly and I believe if Calzaghe could have won that would have looked a great win by the time Chad's career is over. But it was a risky fight for little reward in the end which is why it didn't happen.

Adamek...meh. Never really on the agenda.
