I think Canelo may go up in weight this year due to Andrade, Charlos and J-Rock

Only because canelo would be weakened by the severe drain. I am pretty sure BJS is the better boxer than anyone at 154, Lemieux and Lee hit much harder and all 3 are going to have much better punch resistance too.

Why stop at Lemieux and Lee? Jacobs, Stevens and Quillin also hit harder.

I limited myself to the names mentioned but yes, what you said is true. 160 gets a lot of hate because of a certa in boxer but it has pretty solid talent pool. There is the reason top names at 154 are killing themselves to make weight rather than move up. 154 to 160 is the easiest transition to make past 140 lbs.

Don't know to much about J but overall I think the too at 54 is better than the top at 60 right now.
Between the 3 I do know I think only Andrade should be favored, one Charlo was losing his last fight before a come from behind stoppage. The other arguably lost to a so called faded version of Trout, Canelo gets **** and he beat an unbeaten world champ Trout and dropped him for a career first time in a competitive fight.
He's already beat the current #1 JMW the #5 JMW, and soon to be #7 JMW and current Champ Smith.
Andrade I feel is a matchup nightmare for Alvarez, the twin Charlos I think would get beat decisively in good yet maybe slow fights.

Why Canelo is gonna fight Smith @154 and not Andrade or Charlos who are recognised as top 154 titleholders ?????? Smith is a safer fight than those guys ! Canelo will move up , hopefully it will be 160 lbs and not 157/158 c/w b.s !

GGG, BJS, CEJ and Lemieux are tough fights for Canelo as well but he'd make more money by fighting these guys and if these fights are in Texas then Canelo has a good chance to win.

We will be able to see for ourselves pretty soon. Those 154 guys are big boys, they won't be able to drain that much for much longer. I wish Lara would move up already and directly challenge GGG by becoming a top 5 ranked boxer in any of the 3 organizations that have Genady as champion.

I got Andrade over any 160 Champ right now, I do find it interesting how you are counting on others moving up in weight yet have reasons for why another can't.
Regardless be interested in seeing how it all shakes out, I think Alvarez and Andrade can clear out 54/60 and could be the next fight after Canelo-GGG.
