Kessler is a bit overrated ... I can say something about 4 of the 6 fighters in the super six came out of the amateurs rated in the top 4 in the world ... I think that Kessler has a good 1-2 but it doesn't have any other weapons ... Froch has more weapons ... I'm starting to think that the top 2 fighters in the tournament are ... Froch and Ward ...with Dirrell coming in a distant second.
even though i think kessler should be the more skillful of the 2, froch i think might be better mentally. like him or not, the dude just oozes confidence. he does many things wrong, but the guy is fun to watch and puts 100% into every punch and never takes a step back. but on the other hand, kessler wants redemption, but his best days are behind him and i think he was simply overrated. it will show in this fight. this should be frochs biggest win
Hard to pick. Looking at Kessler-Andrade and Froch-Taylor (at least the first 11 rounds of it) it's not to hard to make a call on this one. However, Kessler hasn't impressed me for more than 2 years now, and it seems to me that he starts to fold mentally when things aren't going his way. Kessler winning a wide UD wouldn't be surprising, but I feel that Froch can unsettle him enough to take control of things around the half-way point and score a KO/TKO after about 9 rounds. I think Froch can make it a war, and I don't think Kessler will come out on top if that happens.
the sooner froch gets smashed the better.he's so over-rated.got the home decision against dirrell.i had dirrell winning by about 2 or 3 clear rounds and he was beaten by the worst super six fighter jermain taylor right up until the 12th round.kessler will teach him
I think Kessler will bounce back and stop Froch. One thing you cannot take away from Froch, despite his lack of skills, is his unbelievable will to win, in the Pascal and Taylor fights he was having problems, yet still managed to get the win. Those intangibles will prove invaluable in fights with guys like Kessler and Abraham.
