To be honest, Povetkin will have all the answers for the heavyweights before long. He has class and he solves tricky styles. You'll obviously be in for a nice surprise on these boards. What was fatboy Peter doing at 14 fights? I recall Steve Holdsworth commentating saying, "..but he's just got to stop fighting LUMPS" LOL
wlad decapitates him but povetkin is a good hw. its close to a 50-50 fight w/chagaev, iggy, oleg, and valuev. he stops peter :yep i'd favor him over everyone else
Povetkin is moving along real good and it's very impressive. But I don't see him becoming a great champion. A solid belt holder though.
solis was a heavy guy already man he was fighting david haye he was far larger in size than haye....even knocked him down if i remember.
Cograts Povetkin.. you just brought yourself one step closer to being knocked out by Wladimir Klitschko.
:yep ha. i agree. he's still pretty young though and can get better like incorportating more side to side movement and adding a jab. he just is too easy to hit right now and lacks the punch to upset wlad unless wlad runs out of gas late in the fight but i dont think that is an issue anymore. but he is clearly a very solid hw. a future beltholder for sure.
my own pick for a future star though is denis boystov. if he gets over his injurires and has a world class chin then this young man is a real talented heavy. great timing /power and abilty to really shift through the gears when he wants to.
Chambers will beat Povetkin and take it in the second half with quicker, starighter, and more accurate punching. While eating up most of Povetkins shots with the gloves:yep Chambers UD, entertaning fight with no shortage of action.:good I cant wait for Brock vs Chambers, i'm a LONG TIME Chambers fan.
