Yes Golovkin appears to be ultra dangerous, but you've over stated the case. HBO is already officially on Golovkin's band wagon and if it wasn't for that 12th round yesterday, I bet you Kellerman would have asked Martinez about facing GGG next. Either way, there will be a lot of clamouring for this fight to happen next year after the Martinez Chavez rematch which will happen for sure.

What has JR proved? That he knows how to rehydrate? To CW?

I think Martinez CAN win, but it's not a sure fire thing. Definitely a risky fight for Sergio. From a boxing perspective - it's a fight that should happen. From a business perspective, it would be a horrible management move from Sergio's team at this point in his career. He needs to be looking to cash out and ride into the sunset.

I agree. Unfortunately GGG will have to fight guys that are way out of his league for a bit. People are already calling for Martinez vs Mayweather even though there is a legit middleweight in GGG that he could face. Golovkin will probably be a victim of politics but if he keeps knocking guys out on HBO he'll eventually get fan support. I will have lots of respect for any top guy in or around the MW division that takes on Golovkin.

Not this stupid **** again:patsch. GGG is doing things the right way . . . he has come to North America, he is an exciting fighter and he has the network with the deepest pockets in the world in his corner. The guy is on his way to becoming a cash cow, if he signs with one of the big promoters he will make some big money fights. He has the skill, he is exciting, he is starting to build a fan base . . . soon fighters will be calling him out to make a big payday. I wish more Europeans would take his lead instead of their dumbass fans crying that they never get respect on these boards.:bbb

GGG reputedly beats heavyweights while sparring. I think Chavez Jr. finishes the fight staring up at the lights with little cartoon birdies flying around his head.
