I think Cotto would have dominated if not stopped Canelo if they were the same size

    Maybe you should watch the fight again, the size difference was alot more dramatic than between GG and Jacobs. I thought canelo looked 2 divisions larger. Cotto fought geale who came in at 181 and even he didnt look as big next to cotto as canelo did

    Looks can be deceiving, canelo was what he always is low 170's while cotto was what he's been for years, upper 160's. Ggg was upper 160's to very low 170's, I've heard DJ was low 190's while being 6' or 6'1". Size didn't win canelo that fight, his higher talent level and aggressive game plan won it crystal clear.

    Why for every loss and every win have to be excuses for the loser and only certain advantages won the fight.
    Most of the time the more talented fighter wins

    Cotto is a far better fighter without question.
    A blown up aging ww giving a good account against a prime 170lb lmw doesnt prove zip
