I can see it's obvious that current champions are very lethargic and in particular vitali is circling around haye until such a time when it's likely he will retire from injury or old age before he getting in the ring with a spruce and determined haye.

if haye issues challenges to all champions, and is even prepared to do business with king (valuev) then we can all see what excuses this bunch of losers give.

what about people like, bob foster, spinks, holyfield, roy j jr who simply got a shot as undisputed champions in their own weight. today they simply seem to be going for the easiest payday!

and they call American boxers lazy???

I'm not in anyway suggesting that haye is capable of beating all of the belt holders, but he'll be swinging from round one and make a very exciting fight with whoever he faces - which is what i want to see and everyone else I expect.

c'mon haye, surely all of the four major hw belt holders cannot have foreseeable engagements running till 2015!!!

It would make the most sense to me, if Haye would go after the less meaningful WBA strap right now. Make the other fights more interesting, and build up some hype. If he can't get past those guys, he doesn't belong in the ring with either Kiltschko anyways.

good response. i think wlad or vitali would rather take easier fights such as tony tubbs and eric butterbean. haye would have a 30% chance of winning, however it's easier to fight a bum who they have a 99% chance of beating over 12 boring rounds. they get paid, and don't get punched.

haye would land a few good shots and that's too much of a risk for them.

who needs a legacy anyway? they're for idiots like lewis, ali etc.

Yeah... because a win over a cruiserweight (who was knocked out at cruiser) with two pro fights at Heavyweight against borderline top 30-40 opponents are what legacies are made of.

I have nothing against Haye for wanting the big fights. Every fighter should want the big fights. However, I see nothing for Vitali and Wlad to gain from beating Haye right now. The fight would make much more sense if Haye proves himself in the division first.

it might do to some degree but the fact that they have been fighting ****/average fighters with nothing really in it legacy wise for themselves for awhile makes the haye fight intresting even if he doesn't have a heavyweight belt.

Haye will never amount to anything other than one big payday which he seems to have earned more by running off at the mouth than fighting. If he went after any smaller fights it would compromise his payday because he would get knocked out by anyone in the top 10. Probably a lot of prospects could clean his clock too. I cant believe anybody is buying into this guys hype but I guess desperate fans see what they want to see.

well the fact is barring viatli, wlad and holyfield he has already amounted to more than the other heavyweights about by being the cruiserwight champion.

I disagree. This is the Heavyweight division, and it's a different animal all together. This isn't like a Jr. Welterweight Champion moving up to Welterweight. It isn't like Haye is some huge mega star. The casual fan really doesn't know who he is. He was one of the Champions in one of the most overlooked weight divisions... and he hasn't made any real noise in the heavyweight division other than with his mouth. That may work very well stirring interest to us very few boxing fans who follow the sport enough to watch youtube videos, and read every article about stuff like this... but in order to be a mega attraction.. Haye is going to have to do something inside of the ring, against someone worthy.

I don't think that Haye is too small... he is the size that Ali and Foreman were in their prime... so if he is too small, they were too. I know that Haye has loads of talent, speed, and power. I am not sold on him having a glass chin, ect... If Haye plays his cards right, and puts in the work, he could be well on his way to setting up the biggest heavyweight showdown since Lewis vs Tyson. Right now, Haye has honestly achieved less than Eliseo Castillo did before Wlad knocked him out, and people don't even pretend to give Wlad any type of credit whatsoever for destroying him. Castillo was an undefeated Cruiserweight who moved up and looked VERY, VERY good beating Michael Moorer. He is actually the only person to beat Moorer since 2002. Castillo looked VERY good, and he was just flying under the radar because he doesn't run his mouth. What do you think that people said when Wlad knocked out the 6'2" 215 pound Castillo? They said "so what, Castillo is too small, just a blown up Cruiserweight who only had one decent win at Heavyweight over an old Moorer".

Now, if Haye actually beats some worthwhile heavyweights, even just one fight against top 10 guy... that makes a fight with Vitali very big. Now, if Haye beats Vitali in a big fight, which isn't too hard to believe considering Vitali's age, inactivity and injuries... a fight with Wlad becomes HUGE! Especially if Haye also has the WBC title. If Haye can't be asked to beat a simple top 10 contender of which you act like would be a "**** fighter" anyways... then what is the point of Haye fighting Klitschko?

As far as your take on Wlad's resume and recent opponents go... I strongly disagree. The man has been consistently cleanout out all of the top heavyweights, fight after fight. Champions, undefeated contenders, other top ranked contenders... to bash on his resume is completely ludacris.

Povetkin? Chagaev? Valuev? Domitrenko? ect... All much more accomplished Heavyweights than Haye. Honestly.. I think that Povetkin would steamroll Haye. I also think that Ibragimov and Chagaev would beat him.
