Thing is, he's impressive, but HAS NOT faced another ATG in his prime so its difficult to rank.

to tell you the truth Ive never seen someone so accurate with that right straight. I mean Floyd was telegraphing that hand and he was starting from his waist, not from high guard..Ive never seen anything like it.

also with his energy level..same with the Judah fight...people dont see it and dont point it out because it is so subtle..Floyd actually gets stronger as the fight goes on..Its either hes cardio is great or hes just that clever in conserving

Sure, im always open for a good discussion :good

My thinking is that Duran is better than Hatton at pretty much everything. MUCH better defense, work rate just as good (possibly better), and his pressure style was more controlled (not to mention he could box with the best of them also). I thought that Hatton frustrated Floyd many times and so I think Duran could most definitely get to him and give him a pounding with the more controlled and harder hitting. Just my .2

Benitez.. a very similar fighter to Floyd..great off the ropes...built to go the distance...great defense...

Floyd is better than Benitez...Benitez a very light puncher beats Duran.

This aint boxing math..Floyd really has the same style

Duran wasn't training hard for the Benitez fight and wasn't completely focused.

    Good one:good

In all honesty, I believe the Duran of the 1st Ray Leonard fight defeats any version of Benitez at 147

I must say though being very objective...Benitez, Pernell, Floyd ..similar molds...their kryptonite is someone like Hearns...

It still a shock to me to this day how SRL defeated Tommy...I guess its a testament to how great SRL was

Oh come on we could play the "fighter x beats fighter z" game all night long. Hatton frustrated Floyd and a prime Duran could easily do that and then much more :bbb . My official prediction would be Duran by narrow ud.......but we will never know.....:!:
