Some of these comments are so F...ing stupid it amazes me how ESB allows these morons to post dumb ****. Anyone who thinks or thought that mayweather was afraid of Ortiz has to be on some cheap meth or crack. People feel that Ortiz was coming on b/c why he hit floyd maybe 1 or 2 times along the ropes. Come on man, Floyd was tagging this guy with right hands that he never saw coming, why do you think he tried to headbutt him. Ortiz became frustrated that he couldn't land meaningful punches and also Floyd kept nodding his head saying saying "no" " no". That takes a lot out of a fighter. Again, I have said this many times on this site, Mayweather was quoted saying boxing for him is 95% mental and 5% physical which is the easy part. Most or to be fair a lot of boxers don't have the mental toughness. If you just look at the sport in general even our children nowadays, there is more crying than mental toughness. Say what you want, and let it be known I am a die hard mayweather fan. I couldn't care less what he does outside the ring b/c I don't watch him for how he lives his life, I watch him for his boxing skills, and right now theer is none close to him. That will indeed change but for now and as long as he keeps fighting, he is the best.

Ortiz was not coming on and to be honest mayweather looked to be opening up more in the 4th when it got stopped. We all know why the pacman fight didn't get signed. It was not Mayweather or Pacman, b/c as it has been reported Pac needs the money. Bob arum will not allow that fight to materialize, so please put all the B.S. back in your pocket and go smoke a joint.

Yeah ealy he was missing some rights, but keep in mind that was his first fight since may 2010 (Mosley) and at the same time he was still landing alot of rights as well. Anyone who isn't a hater, can clearly see that Floyd would have stopped him within 2 or 3 more rds easy! I mean Ortiz landed a few shots but at no point did it look like he had any chance of winning.

Rewatch the end of rd 3 and the beginning of rd 4, Ortiz was in way above his head.

Slugger I respect your opinion, but you are using what happened in the Berto fight to explain how Floyd might've been KOed? Come on Slugger, it was clear as day that Ortiz was missing wildly and Floyd was never even close to hurt in the fight. If Floyd was indeed in trouble and Ortiz was hurting him, why would he even consider throwing a headbutt? Doesn't make sense. Ortiz was getting tagged over and over, bit he could not land clean on Floyd. His frusteration got the best of him and he threw that fateful headbutt. I respect that you're a big Ortiz fan and felt he was cheated by a cheap shot, but there was no indication that Ortiz was hurting Floyd, let alone winning the fight.
