I think Floyd would be an easier fight for Cotto then Margarito

What part of a fight against Margo is a war don't you get?

Floyd is probably too good for Cotto and thus would be tough for him

They were ineffective. Oscar most effective shot that whole night came from the jab.

 If Oscar's body shots were effective, he OBVIOUSLY would have won that fight then because he would have been EFFECTIVELY AGGRESSIVE.

for one a washed up Oscar would have blown Gomez out the water with not problem also ..

So what margarito throw lot of punches , did you notice he needs someone standing in front of him to land those wide shots ? and he's not the most accurate puncher ether , and he's still slow in the foot department .. Santo has already proven , that a little foot movent and angels neutralizes margartio punch out put.

Margarito has yet to face anyone with Cotto hand speed and punch placement .. Margarito relies strickly on strenth and power I don't see his style being a problem for cotto.. and make you think cotto would stand and swoop leather with Margarito ??? I doubt he's that stupid ..

Agreed his most effective pucnh was his jab, but to say DLH can hit to the body and land, which he did. And it did show in Floyds face... Just watch the fight and especially after the rounds.

I diagree as I said on my last post on page 2.

Cotto would take far more punishment in a fight with Margarito absorb harder shots, more shots (Margarito throws 140 punches a round compared to Floyds how many?), be against a busier fighter, a fighter with a great chin, and a better body attack, Not to mention he is much bigger then Cotto....

But you're right I'm sure Floyd style would pose more trouble for Cotto. :patsch

Again cotto could lose both but this really is not contest.

Floyd would win by throwing few, but effective punches and get a decision (if he won) that does not seem to be a harder fight then what it would take in MArgo fight. :good

Omg...not another highlight video again. This is how we judge fights now? I've seen the whole fight 4 to 5 times. The two things the presented the most problems to Floyd during the fight was: Oscar's sound defense and his jab. The body shots were not effective. Half the time he was slapping at the body. Oscar was not doing accomplishing anything with those flurries of "body shots", so what are you trying to prove. If Oscar can be ineffective to the body, just imagine what Cotto coud do?:rofl

did i say all?..any time dlh went to the body it was an attempt to flurry to the body..he would hold with the right arm and throw about 8-9 body shots 5-6 were blocked...THEY WERE INEFFECTIVE if he was hurting pbf with them pbf would not have layed on the ropes..

you call those shot to the elbow body shots , did you not notice floyd didn not wince once from those shots? that becase they were not landing .. oscar himself stated he only hit floyd real good upstairs down stairs he landed less the 15%

i'd have to disagee slightly. i believe Cotto's hands are faster than DLH's at this point in their careers.
