I think Fury is turning up like he did in Wilder 2.

That is a valid point of view.

If Gassiev & Berterbiev can press Usyk then Fury can tear him in half. Fury isn't going to hesistate or let up when he hits that body. He has a sense that AJ & Dubious don't have. Chisora has the sense but he hasn't got the stamina or build to follow up. Fury will be on him like a rash and no stupid paid ref to protect Usyk either so the roughhousing is game and people are going to cry about it but it's a cornerstone of HW boxing. Usyk's saving grace is Fury doesn't hit very hard for his size...but he hits hard enough to force Usyk's into positions he doesn't want to be (backing up, ring circling excessively on older legs)

Both are going to expose massive armour chinks in one another and the best and worst of them will come out. It will be fun...but it will be two old pre-retirement fighters at 75% at best...

I'm going to assume Fury's outboxing with his degraded shot elbow jab isn't going to be enough to take point winning rounds off Usyk early, as such he will carefully pressure still boxing long but enough pressure to push the tempo up on Usyk, then slowly but surely increase that physical pressure to boiling point and go for an attrition stoppage or close rough points decision. Both Fury & Usyk are smart as hell they know what is coming and what they need to do, energy preservation and gameplan is everything. How will Usyk physically drain Fury's tank? he can't...Fury can drain Usyk's though.

Usyk wins this easily. You can take that to the bank. Fury never was that good and now he's old and shot. Wlad was a very long time ago.

If Fury tries to lean all over Usyk, I know what I would do in that situation. I would become completely loose and not try to hold his bulk up, but go down to one knee each time I get leaned on. Then I would take my sweet time getting up, and this would give me some periods of rest.

But, I saved the secret weapon for last: every time Fury leaned on me, on my way down to one knee I would dig a really hard shot into his nut sack. Every single time.

Usyk needs to be in America right now training under that solar eclipse because that's how it's going to feel when belly is on top of him.

I stand corrected. Comparing Wilder to Martin is still about as stupid as it gets though.

As opposed to your narrative of comparing a long reigning heavyweight champion to Charles Martin? I don't even like Wilder but I at least try and be objective.

The length of the reign is completely meaningless when you’re defending against opponents like Szpillka and Washington.

To reference Rummy here, if it was that easy everyone would do it. Fact remains that only two people have successfully beaten Wilder, only one of which managed to do it without hitting the canvas.

Say what you want about his skill and general level of opponent, that right hand remains capable of undoing 12 rounds of hard work in an instant. I think very few people are capable of doing that.

Meanwhile you've got people like Martin getting tangled in the ropes and getting knocked out by jabs, buy hey, completely comparable according to you.
