Man you really don't like Chavez Jr, don't ya? Not my fav either, but GGG already smashed him in sparring. Ward is the only real threat to GGG and vice versa.

Might draw a lot of ratings/attention, but would not be a GOOD fight at all. Chavez is not really a MW anyways, there are better fights for him at 168. Maybe he could fight that Periban guy or Brandon Gonzalez. Vs GGG he has no chance in hell, and would typically be stopped within 6. Guy is just too easy to hit, even tho he takes a good punch he would be up against the most devastating puncher p4p this side of 2000.

GGG is no threat to Ward. Ward would make him look very bad and expose him.

They might pay and see him fight if he gets the exposure by fighting chavez jr on hbo.

Are you Fuc-ing kidding me. ( p4p this side of 2000)? His Punching power wont go with him if he goes up in weight. GGG has toothpick legs and he looks like a wimp. He looks like he would struggle to get up to 160 pounds. Guys I know this GGG guy has got some of you Wlad fans horny but he is to small to compete with the Wards and the Froch's of the world. I even think Abraham would KO this hype job.

Fully agree though doubt it will happen. Looks like Golovkin vs Martinez is most likely going to happen next.

It would be a very hard sell unless he lives up to even half the hype he is getting. But boxing is not that popular in the USA with the younger fans. Most younger fans prefer UFC. It is going to be hard for a boxer to sell PPV's here anymore. Mayweather seems to be the last PPV king here. I just don't think GGG will get any PPV's here. Hell Ward can't even sell PPV's . After Mayweather is gone those big PPV money making days are over for boxing. Boxing needs to do away with all these damn belts and just have one per weight class. And the belt holders should be forced to face top ranked fighters. That would put a end to trash cans like Mormeck and Pianeta getting unearned title shots. Wlad has gave a black eye to the sport giving bums like that title shots.

    :deal

The only way Arum will put Chavez Jr with GGG is if Chavez Jr himself pushes for that fight like he did with Martinez or Arum sees a big PPV event (which is not the case no matter how you look at it)

GGG vs Chavez jr is a great match up. It will be a good fight for GGG to prove that he isn't all hype and Chavez jr has a chance to prove doubters wrong. I can honestly see this happening some time in the next year.

Fight won't happen, we saw how hard and how long it took for Chavez to take on a a past prime Sergio Martinez, only to get outclassed, the whole damn fight. (With the Exception of the one round)

Trust me on this, Chavez Jr will move up in weight, vacate titles, do what has to be done not to make this fight. Publicly they will blame promoters, other parties, sanctioning bodies etc. etc. etc.
