Don't they all fight for money?

Let's say Gvozdyk gets $100K per fight, and he has 5 more fights left in the future in his career. He's 37. That makes $500K at most.

And if they offered $1M to take a dive against Benavidez, which choice is the most logical?

• Continue getting punched in the face and catch further brain damage in 5 more fights for a total of $500K, or
• get knocked out in 1 single sparring match for $1M?
