still its a pick em fight....but I think Hattons forward relentlesness will pay dividends for ricky.... if hatton can tie manny up a bit an upset his rythm I think hatton can muscle his way through for the win.... or not...
I think its Hatton's aggression that is going to give himself trouble .... Manny's movement is amazing, he is going to make Hatton Miss and miss often, and when hatton misses, he is going to pay. Don't expect Manny to Tie up much, he will move in and out and time Hatton.
I don´t think Hatton will come running out,so he can be countered all night long. And i think hatton is a lot stronger than pacmans other opponents. I could see hatton stop pacman with bodyshots. But it´s a really tough fight for both guys... VERY EXITING!!
hmm says.. that's what a lot of people think. The way I look at it... if Hatton has a forward style, that can pose a problem for him. We already know his style and that one of their strategies will be to drive Pac to the ropes or corner. What has me thinking though is the fact that Hatton is going against someone that knows how "avoid", "evade", and "slip away". It's tough to call. I think Haton needs to be able to cut the ring off while going forward/ following Pac so he won't allow him to get away. Just following /going forward won't do against a quick opponent. I'm going with Pac for his speed and his ability to get some punches in effortlessly.
If Pac can keep it in the middle of the ring Hatton gonna be eating that laser-guided left hand all night. Hatton really needs to go the body early if he wants a chance of stopping Pac.
What's interesting is that in the latest Ring magazine, 18 out of 20 experts picked Pacman to win and the only two who voted Hatton were British. But then again, about 17 out of 20 picked DLH to beat Pacman and we know the deal about that.
Does not mean anything. Upsets are a routine thing in Boxing. I don't think it will just be Hatton's pressure that will be causing the Super Featherweight problems, but the strength of the Hitman. I don't think Manny has ever been in the ring with a physically stronger fighter than Hatton, who has decent hand speed of his own, and has a monstrous body attack. Pacquiao is a Super Featherweight at his very best, and he will be fighting a Ricky Hatton, who is at his very best as a Junior Welterweight. Mark my words, it is being overlooked during the build-up, but Manny has never been tested above 130. If Manny wins, it will be in the toughest fight of his Boxing career, in my opinion. Can't wait.
Hatton's aggression should bother Pacquiao. Manny isn't great when fighting backwards so if Hatton can force him to fight off his back foot then Ricky has a great advantage in there.
i just see hatton bullying Pac... theres lot of talk about how much better a mover pac is but Ricky has made significant improvments of late too... Hatton wins
by aggression you mean his holding and clinching techniques then yeah it will bother manny. It bothered floyd jr too then he finally got the seperation and KTFO hatton. I see pacman doing the same thing:good
