Agree! Actually in reality it goes this way, If Pac can carry his weight he will school and destroy Ricky Hatton!

Man think about it, man from flyweights come to 140 and simply destroy the king.

 

I don't know why but i'm going with Finalfight on this one.

Form and previous experience perhaps tell me I shouldn't but I'm going to place a bet on Hatton steamrollering Pac into an early stoppage.

Maybe being a Hatton fan I just want it so much. But I saw it in a dream and Im going with it!

 

The bets I have placed go as follows,

Hatton in rounds 4-6
Pacquiao in rounds 10-12

That should give you an idea of how I see it going.

 

I respectfully disagree. I believe that Hatton is tailor made for Pac. So long as they have a Ref. that will not allow Hatton's mugging style of boxing, Pac is gonna eat him up.

Floyd with his brittle hands was able to knock his ass out, with ease. We all know that Floyd is not a knock out artist. Let us not forget, Pac is a more complete fighter now. He can box and slug it out. Hatton will not be able to handle his speed or power.

 

Maaaaan... same **** with Hatton fights, every damn time from people here. I said the same **** with the Malinaggi fight, that unless you have either top class defence or you're stronger than him (ala Collazo) you're gonna be in for a rough ass fight.

I can't believe people think Manny is some kinda defensive wizard. Mayweather had a rough time early and has impeccable defence - Manny aint even close to Floyds defence, so trust me, he's getting tagged, and won't be slipping as much as people are thinking. Yes, Hattons gonna get hit coming in, but Manny aint tieing up **** or slipping ****, trust me... he isn't cute enough and Hatton closes FAST.

That isn't to say that Manny wont win cos he's a class act, but people thinking Manny can stay in range and slip **** are in for a rude awakening. His southpaw style is the main advantage I give him this fight, forget speed, power, all that jazz... the southpaw stance is his biggest weapon here.

you can say the same about Hatton,yes he brings some pressure but he only throws one punch at a time and hes very overrated as an inside fighter some of his fans talk about his inside work like hes Chavez when in fact he doesnt even do much work inside other than grabbing.

You are partly right. Manny's movement is not amazing...to look at. But he gets away from trouble when he sees it. That's the key. He tries to mix it up from the inside OR just stops on one place when he gets tired. That's when Hatton's bodyshots come into play. But Manny gets tired rarely.

You are actually underrating Manny's "virtues".

Either way, it's still a 50/50 fight.

140 is hattons weight... so there shouldn't be any issue with him coming in drained, yeah he looks big this time in his training but dont he always look like that 1-2 months before a fight.... hope that people dont use the "hatton was drained" if pac wins.
