Chris Byrd was fast and had a much much better defense than Haye. Was he able to evade Klitschko's punches? I see that many people in this thread keep bringing up the Corrie Sanders fight. Yes, Klitschko got blown away in that one. However, he was a different fighter back then. For starters, he did not have Stewart in his corner. Secondly, he didn't use his jab as extensively back then. Thirdly, do you remember what Wlad did when he got up after the first knockdown? He went right after Sanders and got nailed again. Back then Klitschko did not know what to do when hurt. He's mastered the science of clinching rather well since then. So, this is really a different Klitschko we're talking about here.
Why would you do that? Don't take my words add somthing on to it and pass it as something I said. Thats very juvenile ... a man wouldn't do that **** ... You couldve just used the quote under lined some stuff and countered ... you made it seem like I said that ... Dumb move ... don't make me seem like I don't know boxing ... or that we think the same thing. What I said was relevant ...
Chris byrd was a sitting duck who could not even hurt wlad with a sledge hammer :rofl David haye lands flush wlad will kiss the canvas :good Wlad lands flush Haye kisses the canvass a lot closer fight then you all think :nut
Yeah, but styles make fights, and in order to beat Wlad he has to respect your power. If he doesn't, he will bomb right through you. If he does, he'll fight scared.
Not anymore.... He got dropped 3 times against McCline and then Maskaev hurt him at least a couple of times. Peter's chin is not what it was in the Klitschko fight anymore.
Povetkin is a pressure fighter with no movement. Ibragimov actually has a great style, but his lack of natural tallent and athletic ability is his downfall, and his unwillingness to engage a little more. Haye moves around the ring, has long arms, is much faster than either of the guys you mentioned, has pop in his punches, uses feints, and he's extremelly confident. Sounds to me like the making of a future heavyweight champ.
Yeah, but if the Maskaev fight was an indication of how Peter fights, it appears like Peter didnt' change his style. He still fights the same way.
Wlad has also been dropped for thirteen times so I would not say he has a chin of Iron. But the point is you just said the chin does not mater in heavyweights. Haye will have a great change to take out Klitchko with hes speed and power
Don't rate Wlad never have. People need to get off his **** he's ****. No desire or heart. All it needs is someone with no respect or fear of him to take him out with some speed and Haye is tailor made to **** Wlad up
Wlad worked on his defence. He showed very good defence against Ibragimov. Great footwork and movement. Haye has terrible defence work and never boxed against a puncher like Wlad. Wlad will win by KO.
