Pug, Your talents are being wasted on this forum. You should be writing poetry!

    Thanks Kid.

But being a woefully pessimistic, glass half empty kinda guy, are you also saying that I DKSAB - do my serious comments re our beloved sport not scream talent also?

I am so seriously joking there buddy.

Same here Rich. Where are they selling it at?

I hope it’s written by Adam Pollack.

I want the true story to be told and Adam is the man for the job.

Just saying that the use of your considerable talent is misspent! Of course, I am joking there too. Each to his own!

Getting back to the original question, yes, Evander could get under Ali's skin. Ali was prone to losing his cool. Look at how riled he was when Bonavena called him 'maricon'.

Evander, the earnest Christian, doesn't recognise the Black Muslims and refers to Ali as 'Clay'. It's another Patterson/Terrell moment without the one sided beating. It gets a bit nasty with Ali calling Evander an Uncle Tom, Evander showing outward calm but upping the rough stuff. Ali would be asking Evander, 'What's my name?' and a frustrated Holy would be saying 'Stand still and fight like a man and I'll tell you.' Ali wins a clear but competitive decision and an irritated Holyfield questions Ali's courage, due to the fleet-footed tactics.
