I think Holyfield gets under Ali's skin and exploits his mistakes

So Henry Cooper knocked Ali down in June 1963 Fogger. Don't people realize that Ali was a brash 21 year old who took Cooper and Sonny Banks lightly. Both times he got up and won, I agree with you, the last guy that really hated Ali was this clown named El Gallo Negro, a Gomer Pyle Marine. Anyway in the second Cooper title bout on May 21 1966, Ali tore up Cooper, it was stopped in round 6 due to cuts, no knockdown. Ali did not get flustered by anyone as champion nor did he get decked. I do think that this post is way out on left field, too silly to contemplate, Ali would dance circles for 15 rounds over a sour looking Holyfield who needs to stay at 190 lbs.

 

Are you an alt or troll who came back? What did The Yardbirds ever do to you? Did they date your favorite girl? Why do you dislike Muhammad Ali and really dig that sour puss looking Evander Holyfield? It is always good to be yourself not emulate others.

 

While I don't think that Holyfield would cause prime Ali much of a problem, you are absolutely right. Evander believed he could beat anybody and felt no pressure. It's those traits, alomg with skill, of course, that allowed him to be so successful for so long.

 

Ali insulting a couple of fighters about their religion Holyfield would be not different. Holyfield was also very offended by Lennox Lewis comments. Ali was far worse in the trash talking department.

 

This guy next is going to refer to Ali as Clay, I know who he is already, we had him here a few years ago, he got banned. I think he is doofus El Gallo Negro. His content towards Ali is the same, never changes.

 

The faith both men had in their own Supreme Beings allowed them to engage anyone with the greatest possible confidence - though Ali had that confidence in himself even before he became a Muslim.

The motto: The gods help those who help themselves originated in Ancient Greece and is somewhat paradoxical in so far as it really only recommends helping yourself, no more, no less.

So, even without the “help” of a Supreme Being, one’s belief that they will be helped if necessary, spurs them on to complete self help, fulfilling their own prophecies and destinies.

Mentally, I think Evander would be akin to Joe Frazier in so far as not becoming flustered by any of Ali’s words or antics. Would Evander perhaps effective animosity toward Ali - as Joe did? Perhaps but not sure.

Even after having a portion of his ear bitten off, Holyfield didn’t wallow so much over it as many others might have. Along with Mikey T, he’s even now flogging cannabis edibles in the form of ears. Lol.

How did Wepner get under Ali’s skin? Ali got p*ssed with Wepner’s repeated rabbit punching - as anyone would. Ali allowed himself to become angry - but it didn’t comprise his performance at all (see also Ali vs Terrell) for another example of Ali’s efficiently channeled aggression.

It would be interesting if Evander did try on a flagrant head butt - Ali knew exactly how to fight fire with fire - he might be forced to do some things left often seen from him - but if Evander wants to push those boundaries…Ali will meet him there…for his all outstanding abilities, Muhammad was still one rough and tough Hombre.

 

Do you think Pug that Holyfield turns into a TB Test in a syringe to get under Ali's skin? Maybe Ali is allergic to his name according to this ALT, next Ali will be called Clay by this starter of the thread. Heck Pug, He does not even like The Yardbirds, he is named after Jimmy Page.. Ha Ha Ha.
