I think Holyfield gets under Ali's skin and exploits his mistakes

I do think Holyfield could cause an upset against Ali, similar to a Norton upset..
In a series of 3 he's getting at least one win.

 

Whilst I've said Holyfield was good enough to pull off an upset win, he's never gonna humiliate him.

The Wepner bout did not in any way reflect Ali being flustered - and certainly not to his detriment.

Straight out of the gates you cannot even compare Ali’s titanium mindset to that of the precariously balanced psyches of Tyson or Big Daddy Bowe.

Mikes implosions we’re far more about Mike than anything that Holyfield induced. Likewise Riddick was already know ln for negating his size advantage and indulging in punch ups that weren’t entirely necessary.

If Holyfield has successes against Ali it would be by virtue of sheer ability, nothing else.

I’ve always felt Holyfield would present certain diff unties for Ali - but prime Ali’s speed, mobility and sharp shooting head shots would make all the difference.

As to the 2nd career, declining version of Ali - his ring IQ and proven ability to fight in the trenches would see him through in different ways against Evander - Ali the winner probably up to and including the 75 version of himself - after which time his viability took a sharp downturn.

Oh, and is this the same Holyfield that didn’t humiliate old man Holmes and I assume we’re letting ‘Vander have his roids also?
