I think I finally figured it out.

Why doesn't Pacquiao fight for the 147 lbs title at, I don't know, 147? Steroids and making weight, which Mayweather was fined for, are two different things. Besides Mayweather agreed to Pacquiao's stipulation of $10 Million per pound. So Once again, why shouldn't Pacquiao man up and test right along side Mayweather?

 

Yep! Not to delve too far into this topic on the general forum, but the reason fights came off so easily and with such frequency was because Dana White cornered the Amercian Market. The competition from STRIKEFORCE means those days may soon be over.

Still nowhere near the shitstorm that is modern boxing, though. This latest debacle in totally ****ing unacceptable.

 

Mayweather came in at 146 for a welterweight fight.. I agree he should never have agreed to a catchweight if he wasn't going to make it. But quit acting like what he did was that ridiculous.

Cotto should have done the exact same thing for the Pacquaio fight.. this catch weight **** is such bull****.

 

And Pacquiao's is just as shitty if not shittier. Mayweather agreed to the huge fine that Pacquiao wanted, which will only affect him. Still haven't heard one reason as to why Pacquiao shouldn't man up and take the test along side Mayweather?

i think alot of people want all these threads to disapear and for the fight to just happen....but then all the talk of the fight goes on for months then all the talk about after the fight goes on. has there ever been a bigger fight discussion on esb?

pac never thought that floyd would agree to any of that ****.. mayweather said ok to all of it.. now all floyd is asking manny to do is prove with out a doubt that they BOTH are clean the night of the fight.. and Pac wont do it..

he probably agreed to all of them stipulations because he's probably happy with them, APART from the 50/50 split obviously.
