I enjoy boxing, training and sparring but I've never had a fight. Unfortunately I won't be delusional and I think I can't take a punch at all and my brain is not built for taking punishment. I can't describe it but I can feel my brain ratting when even barely touched and I feel a little bit dizzy and my vision gets spinny for a moment. If only I could take a punch I'd be world champion eventually and it's depressing, because no matter how good you are in fighting you are bound to get whacked really hard eventually or take a 100 punches to the face in a fight.
Not unless you make your defense A1. If you say you could be the world champ only if you had a good chin then don't let that stop you. Work on defense.
Jake Lamotta Bare witness to his defensive wizardry vs Sugar Ray Robinson in their 6th bout. Take note of his uncanny ability to slip and slide around the ring to the tune of Robinsons combinations.
Floyd Mayweather, Pernell Whitaker, James Toney, Bernard Hopkins, Willie Pep, Nicolino Locche Most outside fighters have good defense but of course their are exceptions.
I have nothing else going for me in life and boxing is the only thing that gets me up in the morning.
You're only the second person I've heard (read) admit having a weak chin and the other one was only last month. I met up some lads I boxed with in the 70s and one who'd had 90ish fights admitted not being able to take a punch once he'd gone up to the seniors and was fighting in championships. The same lad had a wicked left hook to head and body that had hit me on numerous occasions Not being able to take a punch is nothing to be ashamed of and this same lad had bottle in abundance. Fair play to you
