Wilder didn't beat any top ten or near to get his shot.

Wilder has only ever beat 1 top 10 fighter. And it looks like he may of been really over rated and a paper champion.

Bermane showed zero attributes or ability to close the distance to a taller fighter. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Alexander Dimitrenko owned Bermane. Stivirne never cut off the ring, no jab, no head movement, slow feet, no body work, very low work rate. He just slowly plodded forward with hands up doing nothing. Bermane had one of the worst displays of boxing that I have ever seen in a title fight and that is the truth.

Shouldn't automatically believe everything he says but Haye said in an interview quite recently that he plans on working his way to a mandatory position. Of course if he was offered a title shot, he most likely wouldn't turn it down.

I know he didnt, im not pro-wilder, but at least Wilder was fighting someone.

Fighting awful opposition and getting a title shot, is ever so slightly better than fighting nobody in years and then getting a title shot.

Even if it was a possibility Wilder ain't taking that fight. If Haye wants to come back he should call out Arreola.

Fighting Bermaine Stiverne is better than not having fought in 2.5 years. Agree?

I suspect we will never see Haye of any significance in professional boxing competition again. He shall go nowhere.

Haye said he's aiming for a mandate.

My guess is he'll fight Manny Charr in his return....that fight's been brewing and has some hype behind it, and it'll likely propel Haye into the top 3 and into position to get the fight.:think
