I think I'm gonna take Margarito and Maidana to win.

Exactly no offense to anyone but the notion is ridiculous regardless of how slippery Bob is. Margarito has one more kick at the cat and this is by far the most important fight of his life considering the recent past. I don't know how many people have seen his pics in training but the guy is chiseled and in the best shape of his life.If I was a Margo fan which I'm not my only concern would be that he's leaving it all in the gym. With those odds if I was a gambler I'd go for it.

The Khan fight is really a no brainer. He's going to get punched in the face.

To me it's always about the bite of the dog, not the size. I think Manny has the same view and knows Margarito might try to use his size, but Manny is just too fast and too strong. When Margarito will want to brawl, Manny might want to box, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the little dynamo go toe to toe with Margarito. That, my friends, will be a sight to see. I think it will be a more competitive battle than most suggest. Margarito has a great chin, but Manny knows how to go to the body too. It will be a good fight.

I dont think he is going to leave it all in the gym and your right he looks near ready to go, I think Margarito knows that this will be his last big shot if he ****s it up here he has nothing left and may as well call it a career.

Margarito made the mistake that many fans made when he fought Mosley he beleived Shane had nothing left to offer, and in doing that it cost him big time...
This time round he has no reason to think Manny has nothing left if anything he needs to realize that Manny beat Clottey clearly beat Cotto clearly though I beleive Tony likely thinks that it is he who took what Cotto had left...
and if he thinks that way it may be the mental edge he needs going in to this fight.

Good post. To be honest I place little stock in the Margo/Shane fight as imo he lost the fight the minute the pads were found. Margarito was in effect decapitated. I believe that is also Margo's motivation here.

And it just doesn't look like Pacquiao is taking this as serious as he should be. I know Margarito used illegal pads, I know he's slow, I know his defense is rubbish, but he's coming to fight. This isn't like Clottey, he isn't coming to turtle up, he isn't coming with no corner like he and Cotto did, he's not coming in with problems in his camp like Hatton, or weight issues, he's coming in ready to help fix a tarnished legacy, and by the way I'm making no excuses for Pacquiao's past opponents but my point is he's going against someone who won't quit. This is a much more dangerous fight for Pacquiao than most people expect, and people think because Shane solved the puzzle it's all gonna be easy and he's gonna be too fast. I, for one, see Pacquiao fighting this fight similar to Cotto, and if those uppercuts catch up on him, he is royally ****ed, because if you thought Cotto's heart was amazing in their fight, Margarito will at least double that.

Funny how Manny has fallen sick. I have this sinking feeling that this fight is not going to come off.
