He can then make more of a name for himself in the UK by knocking out Hughie Fury in his own back yard which could open the door (even more) for fights against Tyson and/or Joshua. Otherwise he'll beat Hughie in New Zealand and he will have missed the opportunity to establish himself in the lucrative UK market.
We'll see when it happens. I think Hughie's the better boxer and Parker's the better puncher. If Hughie is healthy he'll box his ears off.
Duco win the purse bid, and the fight will be staged in New Zealand on 1 April 2017. http://www.skysports.com/boxing/new...bo-title-fight-against-joseph-parker-in-april
boxing is on the up in NZ the purse is slightly more in total than all of wilders 5 title fights in the usa
He won't lose to Huggie unless he gets a home cooking treatment, so it's beter for him to avoid losing the pursebid. You never know if you'll get guys like O'Connor or IJL for referees, that screw everything up for you also.
Puts it into context. I suppose Duco don't want Parker to lose, which would scupper his potential AJ payday
