i think its at dannyweight

Probably is but if the fight is at 185/190 it really isn't a disadvantage to Tarver imo. He is a career light heavy himself. He fought at 221 his last fight but he looked like a bloated elephant.

The lighter Tarver is, the better. So many fight fans don't understand what's a "good" weight for a boxer.

 

It all depends Ipy, when he fought Hopkins he was weight drained, he had come down from 200LB after filming of the Rocky Movie he was in. The commentators noticed it and so did i, if he hasnt done this correctly which has occured in the past (hopkins fight) he will struggle during the mid rounds and wont look that crash hot. I see what your saying but this isnt the Tarver of 5 yrs ago and his last fight was 221LB. If he is stripping then he will pay the price come fight night, he shouldnt need to strip, he should look like he did in the Rocky Movie. Wouldnt you agree?

He looks a little plump here but not by much, i rekon 196LB sounds right.

 

He struggled to make 175lbs coming down from around 200lbs (reportedly). 220lbs or whatever he was versus Aguilera was a horrible weight for him. If he comes in at 195lbs or so, I'll be happy. A bit lighter won't kill him, because you know he wouldn't have dehydrated to do it. If he comes in bang on 200lbs, I'd be disappointed.

 

He confirmed himself he dont need to cut any weight to make 196, he'd be in perfect shape at 190lb

 

I think 190LB is to much, id be happy with 195LB tbh given he looks a little plump at 200LB in the Rocky Movie, shouldnt hurt him at all.

 

190 is perfect ofr both fighters.

Dannyweight would be Green stipulating in the contract that tarver had to weigh in at 190.

He will come in above this

But he is not restricted in any way in what weight he can weigh for the fight

He has fought most of his career at 175 so putting on 20lbs and comming in at 195-6 isn't danny decision it is Antonios

 

You can understand the skepticism though. All of his opponents coming in below the 90kg or 200lb limit.

which makes it hard i guess for people to believe me.

If some bloke got on and said something i wasn't sure of believing would be hard.

I have said it a few times and will leave at that because I can understand the skepticism.

BJ was offered an incentive didn't have to but would have blown a big chunk of cash coming in higher then 195

so depends on whether you like Danny or not whether you look at that as danny weight or greed from BJ
