i think its easier to retain speed and power at lower weights

    as i said, i think its easier for boxers to retain speed and power at lower weights as they move up. im referring to pacman ofcourse. the man is a legend, no doubt about it, im not dissin him

    but people are wondering how the hell did pac retain his speed and power when he's gained so much weight since he started his career. i think it all has to do with the boxers frame, height and reach. pac is the same height as hatton, longer reach and same size frame. pac had the same physical attributes when he was 40 lbs lighter at flyweight. he probably could have put the weight on and fought at welterweight 10 years ago if he wanted to.

    roy jones for example, peaked at middleweight, went on to fight john ruiz who was taller and had a longer reach and had a massive frame compared with jones. jones dominated

    i suppose what im trying to say is ,in my drunken state, pacs victory was superb, but im not going to put him in my all time pfp all time great list just yet.
