I think Joe Smith Jr. is the biggest puncher in the sport

    He displays almost no knowledge of the sweet science whatsoever. Though his garbage trainers "Just knock him the **** out..." don't help. And I'm sure boxing being pretty much a side hustle to his $38/hr union job doesn't help either.

    Here we have a guy who can't cut the ring, can't counter, can't jab, can't set up his shots, can't make you miss. He doesn't really know how to fight. I'm still a huge fan regardless though.

    With that said and despite all this. We have a guy who is dropping, knocking guys out, knocking guys out of the damn ring. And putting world class fighters out on their feet with a single shot.

    He's not even stepping into his shots or landing perfect shots. He just touches your chin and you're absolutely ****ed. He's dropping world class fighters with random overhand rights while moving backwards. I watched him in his fight against Sullivan Barrera rocking him HEAVY with partially blocked punches.

    For my money the hardest puncher in the sport p4p is Joe Smith Jr. He just has that weird special power that you just can't train for.

    idk about all that . but he has two fisted power no doubt about it. hes up there maybe but we have a solid sample size and what he has one is impressive ill give him that. but i dont think u give him enough credit. i see skill in there. he has good combos and good power . good stamina hes in shape. yes different trainers may help. but we dont kno for sure. joe smith maybe in the discussion for p4p power but not number one overal

    lol no....Fonfara is lucky it wasn't Gassiev or Kudryashov landing on him.

    How much worse could it have been? Fonfara was out on the first punch Smith landed.

    38 an hour is 38 an hour plus benefits. Nothing to complain about 38 an hour. In addition to Union protection.

    I dont no if smitty can compete at a high level with that recurring injury, Kind of like kell brook . facial bones are not that big so when the start breaking and splinting they dont heal very well.

    Physically he's solid. Massive power, in good shape, tougher than a piece of iron. But technique wise I see very little.

    He can hit for sure but I think needs a lot of work. If you want to be a great fighter it is not a part time job. I like his working man story but if he wants to compete with the top guys he needs to go full time boxing.

    Luis Ortiz is the p4p hardest hitter. Toney Thompson and Jennings both said Ortiz hits harder than Wlad. That is why AJ is ducking him.

    Ortiz does hit hard and it's legit. Unlike Wilder who hasn't stopped a top 10 opponent.
