    He has power but he won't last long if he doesn't learn to protect his jaw.

    He cant afford to keep getting his jaw broken.

    He needs a trainer that can teach him to box.

    He almost knocked Barrera out in the first round, it's a shame it was at the end of the round. Smith has power, is strong, but he has no skills at all............

    Here's the catch doe, Joe Smith Jr. is a murderous puncher, and the TS isn't what I'd call a Floyd fanboy or a lover of defensively minded American fighters. As far as Willie goes, he picked Joe to beat Barrera by KO, that doesn't sound like someone who was all that interested in Barrera getting a win to hype Ward does it?

    Don't let your dislike of certain posters affect how you treat boxers, who cares what they think, Joe Smith is a fun fighter to watch who always has a puncher's chance and if he didn't have his jaw broken in the 2nd round, I have no doubt Barrera would have went down again and possibly stayed down.

    Ortiz is the hardest hitter yet he couldn't take out china chinned Malik Scott who was knocked out by 1 punch two times before, even though Ortiz decked him three times. Sounds legit

    That's because YDKSAB. If Smith is such the hard puncher then how in the hell was Barrera able to get up from the big left hook in the first round?

    That's not even his power hand man. And he went down that easily. Where were you when Joe Smith was wobbling Barrera with partially blocked shots while moving backwards... And doing it all with a broken face.
