I felt something felt strange while he was in the corner leaning on the ropes chewing his mouthpiece before the fight started, i remember thinking he had a really weird nervous look in his eyes, i am never one to look too deep into anybody appearing nervous as all fighters do to some extent but this was different it was weird. The part the got me though was between rounds when he was saying **** like " why do i feel like this" and "What's he going to do next" "what should i do" it reminded me very much of a bad trip i had when i got high many years ago and i was freaking out. That part was very eerie for me to watch for that very reason.
Yeah I agree that AJ failed to adapt on the spot, he didn't try something different to protect himself from danger, or to think himself out of the situation. But let's not question his heart, or his commitment. He went down four times and got up four times. He failed as a fighter, not with his heart.
What happened was he got beat up by the better man last night, with faster hands, who wasn't in the least bit intimidated by AJs size and power. Andy didn't give 2 sh&ts, he just went out and let it rip and took those straps from AJ. Ruiz deserves the all the credit.
Where is your support for Obesity support groups? At least keep it balanced.. One minute Josh is the HW savior the next he's anxious! It's almost as bad as the 'all the best HWs are in the NBA' excuses.. Turns out they're not, they're in KFC! One minute he's superior the next he's having a spaz out about chunk from the Goonies
Lol are you kidding me? What heart are you talking about? He spat his gumshield out hoping it would buy him extra time like it did against Klitschko? He took a knee desperately to get extra time? He was looking at his corner in utter confusion. He got humiliated and had absolutely zero Plan B
How are posters here going to act like they wouldnt have some level of nerves or anxiety on a big stage like madison square garden, in a US debut. GTFO. AJ is as calm as they come, given all the **** he goes through on a day to day with boxing and outside of boxing, and meeting people etc. Most people on here would fold. Stop chatting **** people.
I do. Irrational mental thoughts that leads to physical responses e.g release of adrenaline, raised heartbeat etc
The same Fury that had mental issues after winning the belt? The guys has had the pressure of being the best placed on him since beating Vlad. Something like this isnt due to one thing but is accrued over a period of time, besides we are all just speculating maybe Ruiz is a boxing God or Joshua is a hype job or maybe he had a bad showing etc......... the rematch will answer all our questions.
From what Joshua said, he was concerned that he needed to "Tighten it up" that's what he apparently said to Hearn, sounds like bull, wtf has that got to do with Hearn ?? I don't think we hear what was truthfully said
Lmao in a thread guessing at what ailment he could have suffered from to explain the awful schooling AJ got.
I never said he was punching sharp vs. AJ. He was sloppy because he was afraid. Parker landed in 12 rounds nearly as many power punches as Ruiz landed in 7. Ruiz came to win, Parker came to survive.
I would be shitting myself. Probably crying. But I’m not 6 6, marketed heavily as the best of the era and former Olympic medalist. Would still fight him for 7 mill though lol
He got hit ****ing hard, multiple times, I think spitting out gumshield was a reflex action. Calm the hell down man/ Have you ever been in a fight? Have you ever been knocked down badly? More than once? And you kept your mouth guard in? Do you want me to show you a video of Tyson getting knocked down, and spitting his shield out? RELAX man don't over exaggerate, it wasn't done on purpose. AJ ain't a *****. Careful with your accussations, I guarantee anyone here can you make spit your gumshield out whether you want to or not.
