I gave Wlad one of the first 4 rounds and one of the three judges had him up going into the 11th. (I had it even) Let's not act like Joshua was running away with the fight. Wlad got up in the 5th too and dominated the remainder of the round. It was a close competitive fight.

I know that it was competitive but you said AJ was outboxed by Wlad for a large portion of the fight but it were
only 3 out of 10 rounds where he clearly outboxed him, the rest was close and in the end it doesn't matter
because AJ gave him a beatdown in the 11th round.

He was outboxed for large portion of the fight from middle of round 5, round 6, 7, 8, and 10. Wlad felt him out early and then went to work even at 41. Was a great fight hopefully if we're lucky Joshua will become half the champ Wlad was.

Fury called AJ a 'boxers dream' and i fully believe him when he says he'd box circles around him.

Joshua wouldn't land a clean blow on Fury and would be peppered from head to body with thudding slaps all night long.

Wlad was the easiest fight of Fury's career.

The man is unbeatable in this current era and thats why the system is doing its utmost to freeze him out of the game. The establishment wants Joshua , not Fury and they know he isn't good enough to iron Fury out of the sport with his hands. They're taking him out with the pen and paper instead

There is nothing Joshua presents Fury that Wlad didn't. Understand the styles that make fights , but if you haven't at this stage then you never will.

The only person freezing Fury out is his himself and his coke and pie habit.

He is his own worst enemy.

He could outbox AJ but, watch this space, he will arrive looking like a blimp and get KTFO. Boxing has its own way of dealing with those that take it half heartedly.

Anthony Joshua has a completely different fighting style than Wladimir Klitschko, he is a better inside fighter and more aggressive with faster combinations, he would be a nightmare for Tyson Fury and he would more likely than
not knock him out within 5 rounds, Tyson Fury would be a big target, he is not quite as elusive as you probably think he is.

You are deluded if you think this fight would be an exact copy of the fight Tyson Fury had with a mentally unstable Wladimir Klitschko.

Tyson Fury couldn't do anything against Anthony Joshua, he could do absolutely nothing.

Good post. I think the sheer ferocity of Joshua would be too much for Fury at this point.

I think a potential disciplined, active and experienced 30 something Fury (that we won't ever see) could tackle the Joshua problem given his talent and potential but at this point and given how their careers are developing hell no.

I think the best chance to beat Joshua is to be a powerful explosive counter puncher and try to put him out of there in the mid rounds when he opens up. Maybe Ortiz could actually have a chance but he is too old now.

I don't think Joshua can realistically become the GOAT even if he dominates the division for 10 years. I mean he would have done pretty much the same thing that Wlad did if he did that.

The talent pool for super-heavyweights is just way too thin to give a boxer from the current HW division so much credit. Obviously it's the most prestigious division but if we look at it realistically you can't put Joshua's skills ahead of someone like Loma, Ward or GGG and that's only from current crop of boxers.

I think Loma has good theoretic chances to become a special "GOAT-level" ATG due to his style and variety, but he would really have to move up and down the weight classes and beat elite fighters convincingly for like 8 more years.

Joshua would need to be relentless in his attack to put a beating on Fury and he is simply not capable of bringing that type of pressure.
He lets a flurry go and he gasses out for 2-3 rounds.

He suffers the same effect if he's punched clean. This is why a Wilder fight would be extremely dangerous. One mishap and its game over. Wilder will not allow AJ to recover. The windmills will come raining down and each one carries stopping power.

Obviously Fury doesn't have that power , but he has the type of power that breaks you down. Its soul stealing , energy sapping power.
You mustn't underestimate ring craft and ring intelligence. Fury is more tactically aware and and has the better boxing brain.
Fury would have AJ slumping around the ring like a zombie by round 6 and by round 10 he'd be finished off with his back up against the ropes.
Fury is indeed very elusive and hard to hit when he is on his A game.

This guy has toyed with top contenders in ways ive never witnessed before in my life.

Anthony Joshua is always relentless and he puts always a lot of pressure on his opponents, watch his fights
against Dillian Whyte and Dominic Breazeale, he never gassed out after 2-3 rounds, he was relentless for
7 rounds against both of them.

There is no way that Tyson Fury can avoid getting caught by a 5 or 6 punch combination.
