I think Khan can take a shot, just rewatch round 4 and he was taking shots well!

poor comparison  that's a feckin jab... Not a looping left hook haymaker.

Khan's is very chiny though.. That shot may have knocked a lot of fighters down however I doubt they would of been doing a chicken dance for the next 3 mins :yep

In addition, Garcia, actually saw that punch coming, be it a jab or a straight. The counter that hit Khan was totally blind and out of sight. He didn't see it coming, and the ones you don't see coming always hurt the most. However, I do give Khan props for actually getting up after that punch, it seemed like it would of done a number on anyone in the 140 division. However, I was not impressed with the way he fought back. It seemed as though he went into panic mode and was not thinking straight. He needs to get a new trainer that will teach him the basic fundamentals of boxing. Khan also needs a strict trainer that will tell him how it is. Roach is too soft on him, and with his Parkinson's disease slowly taking its toll, he can only do so much. Khan needs a trainer that will put him in check.

He was just a bundle of reflexes by then. He was really and truly out on his feet.

Khan has the best comedy falls in boxing.

He does like a Bruce Grobbelar dance thing before eventually settling on the canvas.

Once he is hurt, he actually takes some decent shots. Surprisingly this only happens once he is hurt. The shots he doesn't see almost always hurt him or wobble him at the very least, but once he is hurt...he starts seeing the punches coming and preparing for them better for some reason, strange.

average chin, bradley took a similar punch vs holt but got up and recovered and he's meant to have a good chin, he didn't get up and brawl like khan did either

If only his mother had held her legs together, Amir wouldn't be in such a pickle.

The bigger issue is why was he's taking those shots in the first place?

He can't see left hooks...it's been his problem since the amateurs.

It's not about chins it's about defense.

Ask Williams and Librado Andrade...even the toughest beards are nothing without DEFENSE..:deal

People talking about his chin, but it wasn't even his chin that the punch landed....That's the crazy thing. So when people say he's glass jawed and hasn't got a chin, he wasn't even hit on the damn chin. He hasn't actually been hit flush on the chin and looked shaky since Maidana, but he survived that.

Khan's problem is that his recovery is terrible and he is awful at disguising when he is hurt. He can physically take some hard shots but it seems to send his brain into meltdown.

I think you are 100% right here. His chin did get better since he moved to 140 and i think it takes more to hurt him here than at 135. However his recovery has not improved.

He does the exact same thing every time he gets chinned.

He goes down like a sack of **** then gets up pulling that same gormless face and walks backwards like a frankfurter reversing down a tight road.

Hilarious stuff, I can't wait for the next one!

Khan's punch resistance is bad, period. The only reason he lasted in the 4th round is because he had time to recover a bit. But if Garcia lands that shot 30 seconds earlier in the 3rd, Khan doesn't even survive the round. He was gone.
