I can see khan stopping maidana last 3rd of the fight. Maidana is quite wild with his one shot knockout punch, khan would easily counter that.

If I was a betting man, the only thing that would probably tempt me would be Khan by TKO in the early rounds. Nobody is expecting it so you would probably get good odds, although granted it isn't very likely to occur

Odds are pretty poor on Khan for this fight considering who he's facing. Especially considering you could get 1.25 ish on Khan against Malignaggi...Unlike Malignaggi, Maidana has a real chance of knocking Khan out.

Maybe its because Maidana's not that well known outside boxing circles so people aren't taking him that seriously.

I think people are really starting to underate Maidana in this fight.

I lean towards Khan slightly, but Maidana is a legitimate threat in my eyes. Khan is gonna have to concentrate every second the fight lasts, because if he takes his eye off the prize, for just a moment, then Maidana is gonna light him up.

It's a tough fight but Khan should still win. Maidana could just as easily lose his concentration and get sparked by a quick Khan combination. His short hooks have got so much better in the last year or two and that could be the key to breaking Maidana. I think Marcos Maidana is a bit too small to properly apply pressure to Khan and he'll probably get picked off easily.

Khan has never been in with someone who stalks like Maidana does.

I think people underate Maidana because he's not a world class pressure fighter, but he is a better pressure fighter than say a shot Michael Gomez. He'll certainly bring more pressure than either Kotelnik, Salita or Malignaggi.

Plus, although Maidana has been dropped he has shown excellent powers of recovery and has also shown that he is extremely dangerous when hurt. Khan cannot afford to to jump on Maidana if he drops him, because he may get dropped in return.
