Steward seems like a mentor type of trainer and his training consists lots of talking/cerebral approach. Can't see Amir getting that 'chess attitude' in to his head. Roach is wrong for him at the moment though..
No way man, serious clash of styles. Steward will get him to be much more defense and will make sure he utilizes his jab much more, Khan will have to be more patient but he doesn't fight that way and his dumbass fans dont want him to fight that way, so I think it'll all be a train crash.
The only thing about being trained by Steward is HIS TIME IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Back when Oscar was still active and had his one training camp with Steward, Steward only saw him like 3 times a week. Last we all heard Amir was trying to negotiate more training time if he was to remain wif Roach. An extremely flawed fighter in dire need of development like Amir needs to spend plenty of time with his trainer imo.
He only developed a rockbottom wladimir klitschko to become possibly one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.
Fully agree with this and I remember saying a long time ago that if Khan wanted to be successful he would have to imitate Wladimir Klitschko. He's tall so he should be using the distance and he can develop a good jab with the right training. He really doesn't have the punch resistance or the power to be going into battles with good punchers. The only way Khan is going to regularly win is by jabbing his way to UD's.
He'll end up like Andy Lee, who also couldn't follow his corner's instructions. Steward: Now now you don't have to brawl with him, use your jab. Start of the round, Lee trades with Chavez on the inside without jabbing.
So now you change your tune you jap tranny. This ***** boy always says one thing then changes it and acts like oh I told you so
Amir should employ the scientists who put Adamantium on Wolverine and see if they can toughen up that Ming vase of a chin before he gets back in there with anyone who punch harder than a 3 year old.
