Yet you think Harris wasn't as weak as Gatti? :huh
Mayweather targets the WBC title in every division he jumps to, that's another proven fact you seem to either forget or pretend to, Gatti had that title. If Harris kept winning then I will probably take this discussion seriously, but that's not case here and not eve close. Gatti even declined that fight but Mayweather, unlike Margarito, didn't just sit there and accept he, fought and forced it by being #1 contender, did Margarito do that to force a shot at Mayweather?, the answer is no.

Mayweather's main reason when he moved to 147 was the undisputed title, which was held by Judah then won by Baldomir. Margarito on the other hand took the WBOgus far too seriously till Williams punched him out of it and all of a sudden he's getting the offers he wanted. Who's fault is it again?, when you want something bad enough you sometimes have to make sacrifices, that's a well-known fact especially in boxing. You might want to look into those facts better before pointing at others.

    Hindsight is always 20/20 Scar.

Fact is prior to Harris being embarrassed by Maussa, he was considered one of the very best 140lbers out there. He destroyed then champ Hurtado and looked very impressive in his outtings.

Don't act like Mayweather just knew Harris was gonna get his ass kicked because nobody knew that. Hence why it was an upset. Just like saying Margarito was going to lose to Williams. And so what if they did lose? That doesn't diminish the past. That's like saying every great in history was proven to be a bum because they eventually lost. Everyone eventually loses when they don't cherry pick defenses.

You show me facts where he didn't call them out, the Corrales fight is out there and the interview after it is out there as well, go search for them yourself and maybe you'll improve your own obviously lacking facts. I'm not going to do it for you. Youtube and google are your friends, if you watched boxing for a long time you would know about those facts without the need of me to copy/paste for your pathetic ass.

Your face keeps getting burned, now do your own search "Mr. I've seen boxing for ages and rate Margarito as class A". You're the one who's in need of help but as a failure and a dumbass you will refuse to admit it simply because you're poor in the head. Off you go, with your tail between your legs as done countless times already in any discussion. :hi:

A relatively unkown undefeated or a cash cow champion in Gatti. Who could blame Floyd for going after Gatti? And after that Mausser fight of Harris... it's all in retrospect now but Floyd made the correct decision.

  6. Calm down mate I really don't rate Joe that much myself anymore ;)

Mayweather is pure talent though and as much as we may praise Pac now we must remember Mayweather was that much better than Pac which speaks volumes for his talent

Still you're not proving anything man, the Gatti fight was demanded far more than a fight with Harris at the time and for obvious reasons, not to forget that(again I repeat) Mayweather always targets the WBC title in every division he jumped to. That's the reason he was picked instead of Harris who was unimpressive like fellow champion Gatti and got KO'd for his efforts at a time when he finally started to get SOME media recognition. Also please note that the Maussa fight was supposed to be a "Statement", he hardly did enough to be considered a SERIOUS threat as you claim and his abilities in the ring prove it. The same way you're falling for the Margarito hype, it's happening yet again with very weak proof in terms of public image and in-ring abilities.

Please note that the Gatti win will look far better than a win over Harris in the long run, just like the Baldomir win for the lineal title in comparison to a Margarito win for the WBO.

You act like he picked Gatti over Harris in one fight selection. He opted to avoid the title shot Harris offered to get in LINE for a shot at Gatti. Big difference there.

That means he went through Mitchell, Brusseles to get to Gatti. Instead of fighting Harris right away for a title belt.

Tell me, if you were in Floyd's shoes, Gatti or Harris. You'd honestly pick Harris?

No facts again, failure strikes again but resorts to one-liners as you usually do when you're being crushed to pieces.

Zab Judah was the target right after Mayweather failed to get both Cotto and Hatton in the ring. That's when Arum started talks with King for a possible fight with Judah for the undisputed title even before Mayweather made his move up to 147, when they got the green light Mayweather made his move though had to wait for Judah to fight his mandatory in Baldomir so he took on a tune-up his self in Mitchell. Zab lost and you probably don't know what happened after it but boxrec is your friend, I've educated you enough today and enough before.

    Who has Margarito beat?

he's a product of media hype ... he's not that good ... atleast Baldomir won a linear title/WBC/ring magazine title ... where was Margarito when Baldomir was at his reign?
