I hadn't really made a desicion on this fight untill now, but i've been watching video on both of them and I think Mayweather is just the superior fighter. Pac is really popular right now, but people forget he was outboxed and outslugged by Erik Morales and went life and death with Marquez the same guy Mayweather absolutely dismantled. Mayweather feasts on high workrate action fighters ( Gatti, Hatton, Corrales). So i'll take Mayweather by wide UD

I think you'll be in for a big surpise if you think it's going to be that one sided. Pac's on another level since last fighting JMM. And JMM was on another level too when he fought Floyd (a level or 2 down). Gatti (RIP)? Hatton? Corrales (RIP)? You can take all the best assets of those 3 and it won't amount to what Pac brings. It will be great fight.

What a dumb**** comment... If you cannot see improvement on Pac's part GTFO of a boxing forum. Better yet, go post at some Floyd fanboy page.

Anyway, Marquez's best weapon against Pacman is something that Mayweather doesn't have -- beautiful counter-punching in combinations. Mayweather has fantastic counters, better than Marquez, but only in single shots. He rarely ever counters in combos, not because he cannot do it, but because it leaves you more open and exposed. He relies on potshotting, and only really opens up properly when the other guy gasses or is broken down over the rounds. Both Morales and Marquez 'suppressed' the storm of Pacman via sharp, fiery combinations.

Pac is a much better fighter now, stronger, smarter, and in his prime. You are taking examples from when Pac was reaching his potential. which is not a accurate description of where Pac is right now. Pac is in his prime, and is going to beat Mayweather by UD or late TKO.

We'll see what happens when Pac lands on his Floyd's chin. Then we'll see what's up.

    ****ing AMEN!!!.

Good thing I'm not the only one who says this.

I love Pac being the underdog right now, that means an upset over Mayweather would only be ****ing sweet!!

I don't think so actually. I think its going to be a close fight. Unlike Pac's recent fights which were guaranteed to be blow outs and I predicted them all right. Even the Cotto fight was always a blow out one way or the other, as long as Pac could take Cotto's power he'd win very easily and if he couldn't...well he'd lose very easily too.

But this fight even if Mayweather lands good counters, which is virtually guaranteed Pacquiao is going to bring it. Time and time again. And not just in a Ricky Hatton type way with no method. Pacquiao will be bringing angles, speed to compete with Mayweather and power. Even if he's just hitting arms here and there and trapping Mayweather on the ropes and unloading he's still going to be working a lot. Mayweather is going to have to make it real clear to edge out a decision, as it appears Pacquiao takes punches extremely well.
