While it's possible that Hatton may be the most difficult fight of Mayweather's career, I think that this is the time that Mayweather will prove his tallent to even the most ardent doubters. Ricky is more prepared for this fight than any fight in his life, but I think that despite how hard he's trained for this fight that Mayweather will give him all he can handle and more. As it is right now, I favor Cotto to beat him because if you think about it, Cotto's fought Malinaggi, (about as close to Mayweather as you can get), Judah, and Mosley. What better preperation can you have to fight a guy like Mayweather. Cotto will have seen it all, and he's relentless, faster than he's appreciated for, and strong as hell. If Mayweather stops Hatton which I'm thinking he just might, then I might favor him over Cotto too. Anyway, that's just the stuff I got to say. For all the Hatton fans, it's not that Hatton isn't a good fighter, it's just that Mayweather may very well be a once in a generation type of fighter. It's just how it is.
Fair play. All i ask for as a Hatton fan is respect for his talent and achievements. Get angry as hell about people basically calling him a club fighter
I think Mayweather will be forced to fight. I don't think it will be easy, but I think he'll stop Hatton. And I'm more of a Margarito fan than a Mayweather fan. I like a come foward and fight till you die style better than a defensive one, but that's just me. It makes for more exciting fights. But ****......I ain't the one getting hit.
:good Yes and when we have ago aback at the floyd fans we are anti-floyd but they can rubbish our fighter on the basis or 2 below par performances.
Even those sup par performances he won... thats a true champ. Fighting crap in WC Belt fights whilst not 100% and winning. The better the opponent. The bigger the opponent, the better the Hatton.
True. I mean the best two fighters hatton has fought in castillo and KT he was at his best physically but to me who went to both fights he looks incredibley fit best i have seen him. If you are not up for this fight you should not be a boxer.
he has frail hands but Floyd doesnt put everything into his shots like Hatton which taks some of the pressure off his hands. Another thing is Floyd will connect on a very high rate on Hatton....the compilation of punches will and can cause a TKO in the later rounds...i do not think floyd will look for a one punch KO because its not him...a TKO is very very attainable. The biggest plus signs i see in this fight to tell me Floyd is going to paint a masterpiece in a tough fight: 1. 71in reach to a 64in reach.... 2. Faster 3. better jab 4. Boxing brains These four advantages will be the dismise of Hatton...yes ...Hatton will bring a damn good fight and effort...However....he will come in with a gameplan and a defense that are right up Floyd's ally. a fighter who comes in face first with no reach danger with a punch comming in and a leaky defense is heaven for a accurate puncher such as PBF. Then the fact that hatton really doesnt respect Floyd's power and in-fighting will confuse him in this fight and while he tries to figure Floyd out again...floyd would have already made the adjustment to Hatton and will be pressuring him inabling him to adjust because now the pressure is on Hatton. Hatton has never been in a position like this. I'm also afraid that he won't be able to make adjustments like he needs to in MID FIGHT. This fight will be PBF's best performance even better than the Gatti performace presenting the challenge is way better than Gatti.
I read it on the bbc website last night when it broke i was shocked. Harry redknapp of all people can't see it really. Anyway I hope u do well in the league. Hopefully if Oldham beat crewe we could get a premiership club I mean i would not mind a trip down to pompey as that is a ground I have never been to.
By most 'inside' accounts, Harry Redknapp is a bit corrupt. Those lads from the BBC documentary wouldn't have made allegations without foundation, even if they seemed weak at the time. His name crops up, even if kept from the public, at parliamentary enquiries. Holloway on the other hand is a judas who built an image that he was different from all football managers, and then left anyway. He left a team which had an excellent chance of the play-offs, for a team with no chance, and a chairman which is more corrupt than Redknapp. Maybe he wanted a piece from the same pie Harry's been eating, a chance to earn some REAL money Judas *******.
