Not really. It can be brought up in debate sure, but it does not disqualify him. Would the mayweather in his second pro fight be able to beat the current lomachenko?
Would the mayweather who beat corrales lose 8 times in 90 fights if he went back into the amateurs?
The salido fight has no bearing on lomachenko as a fighter today.
I think if anyone bad mouths either of these fighters they have some sort of agenda.
The skill level of both these boxers is incredible

Mayweather IMPROVED after the Corrales fight.

Physically he declined a little, but skillwise he improved.

:D It's obvious a fight between Loma and Floyd will never happen for the money reason alone (they are just worlds apart in terms of earnings for one fight.

But Loma could have potentially been calling Mayweather out. :) For example, to promote himself a little bit, why not? :) You know, they say there are no bad advertisements -- even if you hate it at least you know what you're hating. ;)

Lomachenko has skills that Void never had...........Void could not move around the right like Lomachenko, did not have the angles, etc., Lomachenko is in another class...............the best and most skilled fighter in boxing history, not one fighter has ever had the footwork of Lomachenko, nor so many angles.............

I take it some of you guys never seen a Mayweather fight @ 130 and replying to this thread thinking about Mayweather @147. Go take a look at a few fight @130 and then make your judgement. Mayweather was more aggressive fighter back then. Then also take into account he still has all the physical advantages such as reach and height. Floyd takes this one.

Floyd dealt with his Salidos of the world. Loma couldn't even beat Salido.

Gotta love when tough fights get brought up as a negative when rating a fighter when the fighter themself uses that as a means to improve and grow.

On one hand, people want fighters to get experience, but on the other, they punish them for the process it takes to get the experience lol. Makes no sense to me.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with people picking either. Floyd has a size advantage, hits hard at the weight, and tremendous textbook skills. He could do it all at 130.

Loma is more polished, is an extremely slick southpaw (something Floyd wouldn't have seen for the first time until Loma and never faced until the frontrunning Judah), and is an expert at disrupting textbook fighters.

I favor Loma primarily based on styles, but this is a tremendous fight. I see no reason to knock one to build up the other.

Loma fights small, Floyd fights big, that's the difference, Floyd is way more built to take on fighters of any size or skill level, I haven't seem Loma face all the styles and shapes PBF has been in with.

Floyd schools A fighters, make them look C and D level.

I don't think Floyd get enough credit for this. Not only that it kinda hurts him sometimes in the long run. When he beats people (especially in the middle of his career) he made it look really easy. Some of the fighters that he put a master class on are going to the Hall of Fame. Floyd has fought some really good fighters and made them look ordinary.

When did Salido become this "elite" inside fighter?
