I think Mayweather would have beaten Loma at 130

Lets deal with the FACTS, shall we?

Mayweather has never lost as a professional, Lomachenko has. Mayweather has beaten FAR superior opposition than Lomachenko has. Period, end of story.

These are the FACTS and they are not up for debate.

Lomachenko simply does not have the body of work to be in the conversation alongside someone like Floyd - who was good enough to move up from 130 and get a W over the *current* Lineal MW champion on the world. Mayweather's 130lb resume alone puts Lomachenko's resume, amateur and professional, to SHAME. Those wins over Hernandez and Corrales loom LARGE.

At 130 Floyd fought bigger stronger fighters ,the class of opponents that Loma fought isn't much out there.

He’s a smarter fighter, better reflexes, better footwork and has a better offensive arsenal dumb dumb. His defense is every bit as good as your hero too. Only difference is Loma doesn’t hide behind his and pot shot his way to boring victories.

Mayweather will be a favorite vs Loma, mainly because of the Size advantage

 

Loma's fought a wider range of styles at the weight. Floyd fought strong fighters, but they were also orthodox, straight up and down types- no elite defenders or movers. Diego and Genaro were really good wins- don't get me wrong- but success of them doesn't mean a ton when Loma is as different stylewise as could be (nevermind being better).

Floyd didn't face anything remotely resembling a slick southpaw at 130. There's nobody on his resume in the zip code of that style until Zab Judah at 147, who gave him a tough fight the first half of it (granted, that was what the front-running Zab did in pretty much all his biggest fights).

 

Floyd by stoppage. You all will see Loma's face get trashed by the first guy he fights that is able to touch him consistently.

 

Lomachenko is too smart and too skilled for Mayweather.
