after he gave the last round away to put on a show for the fans. very easily could have been an 8-4 fight...it may have been close but morales won and there is not doubt about that. And a good way to see if some one is shot. Their punch resistance. Towards the end of his career morales said he felt punches more than he used to before.
If that is the case H2H tarver is better than jones but legacy wise. jones lopsided win by tarver as far as legacy is concerned H2H PAC is better than Morales but legacy wise. No brainer PAC has more legacy than Morales PAC has been fighter of the year, Has been 2nd best p4p, then became #1 p4p, currently in the top 10 list of Fighter of the decade One common dinaminator - MAB. Do I have to elaborate on this? As far as I recall Mab has 0 wins agains two losses with PAC..
Although Pac vs Barrera was at 126 lbs, Pacquiao was still a 122lb fighter. Before the fight Roach said Pac could still make 122 easy. So basically you had a 122lb Pacquiao beating a 126lb Barrera EASY, no controversial decisions... but like you said, it can go on and on.
Even tho I dont like Barrera, I do believe that Barrera & Morales of their 1st 2 fights would beat any version of Pac at 122 - were the 1st fight took place - & 126 - were the 2nd fight took place. 130 may be a different story as Pac was still at his peak but Morales & MAB had slowed somewhat, especially Morales as we all clearly could see for ourselves. Weird thing is.... if EM had fought smarter & not got into so many wars, I actually think 130 would have been his perfect weight judging by his frame & the way he looked in his early 130 days... but **** happens... on with the show I guess.
