First of all, Mosley has much faster hands.

Second of all, if Mosley lands a right hand to the chin of Alvarez, Alvarez might need several minutes on the canvas to recouperate. We all saw little Jose Cotto have him wobbling across the ring.

Mosley is fast enough to land the one two on Alvarez regularly I think. This could actually even be over quite quickly.

Alvarez is a patient fighter but he does get caught and he can't afford to take one from Mosley, who is a good finisher. Pac and Mayweather are different class and Sergio Mora is a bit of a spoiler. If Shane comes in here and gives it a real go for a few rounds, we might see Alvarez looking very confused on the canvas while the referee counts to 10.

Don't rate Alvarez at all, but Shane's just looking to get that $$$ that his ex took from him and also splash out on his model wifey. No doubt he'll put up another horrible display..

Mosely is shot & is only still fighting because his ex-Mrs took him to the cleaners

Hopefully this is his last fight, he just cant pull the trigger anymore

i was thinking the same thing, if the pace is slow which i think it will shane will get time to land his right hand and should'nt blow out of steam like he did against mayweather.well worth a bet Alvarez is not as good as golden boy promotions think he is.

Oh god, Lirva starts a similar thread to me :-(.

I think my reasons for giving Mosley a strong chance were a bit better than his though. For one, unless you've neglected to watch Mosley's last 3 fights, you'd see his hand speed has all but gone.

Fancying him in this one on the basis of that is foolish I'd say. However, I do think Alvarez sets up nicely stylistically for Sugar. A prime Mosley would demolish him IMO, this version should lose such has been his decline but I don't know I've got a feeling he'll do it.

I think Mosley is in with a real shot in this fight, Alvarez will fight at whatever pace Mosley wants it at, I could see him being caught with a big shot and stopped in the middle rounds, I hope Mosley churns out one last great performance, he's so much better than the Pacquiao fight showed.

  9. Mosley is done.

Aside from one punch against Floyd and the brutal beating of Margarito, he's looked gash since the loss to Cotto back in 07.

In truth he's never been the same since Forrest did him ten years ago :-(
