Don't worry buddy, he has no intentions of fighting someone with a chance to beat him

I do think he is past his best, but he is also probably still the best boxer in the world. The focus is far too much on the decline, rather than how good he is relative to everyone else. The problem is that if everyone proclaims how shot he is prior to every upcoming fight, then the person who finally beats him will get no where near as much credit as should be deserved for beating the man who is still the P4P#1. The assumption will automatically be that he wouldn't have beaten Floyd in his prime, regardless of whether this is true. Obviously more credit is deserved for beating a prime version of anyone, but it's clear that a lot of this is people making a safety net for their idol. This is not exclusive to Floyd, every boxer get's this from their fans, I'm just calling people out on it.

Chance is merely an opinion. Like there are many people who thought Mosley had a chance, Cotto had a chance, and that The Ghost has a chance. STFU:patsch

Rigo is just plain better. His movement, his power, his ability. Rigo is a master boxer. He's probably the best boxer I've seen since Whitaker.

Granted, maybe I'm giving RIgo a bit too much credit because he needs to fight Mares to really gauge his ability, but from what I saw, the man is amazing.

    You can't teach that.

And Ward is a great boxer, and he's still relatively young. His resume is excellent, and he completey dominated his last opponent in a fight in which many people believed he would lose.

Broner doesn't use his legs enough, but his power and his defense puts him in an elite category. His defense is not as good as Rigo's, but he's a close the show type of fighter. He comes to knock you out.

And I can just look at GGG and tell that he has the tools to be a great fighter.

The fact of the matter is, if people are saying Mayweather is fading, and he is, they need to relinquish the PFP #1 spot and give it to someone else.

If not, then they need to assume he's the best on the planet.

I don't believe this to be the case. You do, but I believe you're in denial.

The only way we'll find out, is what we see in the ring. Guerrero is not a PFP level fighter. He doesn't have the tools, skills and ability that the above guys I mentioned have.

If he gives Mayweather a difficult fight or beats Mayweather, we'll have an idea of how far Mayweather has declined.

If Mayweather puts on a masterclass, then I guess you can come back on here and talk all kinds of **** because you'd be right.

Maybe Mayweather will amaze me, but I have a feeling that the curtain is closing.

This post would make more sense if we were talking about Canelo instead of Guerrero.

Great post and agreed completely. Although, the best game plan to fight a fighter like Guerrero is to take the lead and attack him from the get-go by using intelligent aggressive pressure. However, if he plans on fighting an orthodox boxer after his upcoming fight, then he needs to use his dad as his main trainer. As of late, Roger only wants him to fight one way and one way only and that can backfires against a fighter with an orthodox stance.

How the **** is he shot, when he's never been beaten badly?

Mayweather is definitely getting older but he is still fighting at a high level. People need to keep a close eye because age doesn't always show gradually. It can actually show up drastically from one fight to another in some cases. I can't say May is losing it yet until I see something that tells me otherwise. Mayweather is in great shape for his age. His style of fighting has helped him age well. You CAN'T beat age but I think May is still winning that battle.

Wait a minute....a guy who has 14 fights you are comparing to Whitaker? Good lord man...who has he beat? His career is in its beginning phase. Yes Rigo is good...but to say he is better than Mayweather and comparing him to whitaker is just absurd. This guy fights Donaire and now hes put on an exaggerated pedestal? Good lord....

A faded mayweather is Miles beyond Rigo....ANYONE can look like Whitaker fighting bums in 13 fights...get real man

This.... The Rigo hype this past week has got way out of hand.. People already talking like he is a living legend, and comparing him to ATG fighters.
